WOW.....When a "world class city", a tourist mecca in the heartland of the U.S. Of A. has statistics like these, which beats the murder and mayhem in Mosul, it is time to take a stand......a real stand....
This is not something that can be controlled by the understaffed CPD, it's incompetent merit leaders, nor the dumb ass who calls himself a Mayor....
Time to call out the BigBoys.......ATF, FBI, DOJ.......and let them go federal after the gangs.....RICO.......the money and drugs and guns involved in keeping the south and west side in their turf wars is what is responsible for all the killings and shootings....it's NOT the big bad CPD being mean to the citizens, it's not racial profiling, it is an all-out war out there and it is time for some real change in tactics to get it to stop.
But no, instead we get the typical Democratic response of "remake the Policing Strategies" and get the "community involved" liberal nonsense......The COPS aren't to blame......it's the GANGS, stupid! Maybe someone should read the old files on how the Feds went after Capone and his cronies, and get a CLUE as to how to bring this murder and mayhem to an end.....

No, The Feds should go after the corrupt and incompetent criminal politicians. Go after the Democrat Machine, the Fifty Alderthieves, the Cook County Crooks, the connected buddies, and the corrupt judges.
Vote for, campaign for, and elect honest politicians. Honest competent politicians will support the police and stop supporting the criminals.
