Ballsy Move
- A clerk wrestled a gun away from two men who tried to rob his Austin neighborhood store and then shot them Tuesday afternoon on the West Side, according to Chicago Police.
The botched robbery happened about 4:45 p.m. inside the small business in the 5800 block of West Chicago, police said.
One of the alleged robbers, 34, was shot in the torso and taken to Loyola University Medical Center. The other, 35, was shot in the upper leg and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
They were listed in critical condition.
So there's still hope that their criminal careers will end permanently.That would make the happy ending truly happier.

Actually he was shot right up the dick hole. He had a entrance wound at the head and a exit wound on the shaft closer to his body then the bullet made its way into his stomach. Lee Harvey Oswald would have been impressed with this shot.

This is a feel good story but the poster who wrote Illinois needs a three strikes law is off the mark. The juducial system in this state cannot enforce the laws it has on its books and if you think it can even count to three is laughable.
At least he won't be breeding anymore!

Now theres a clerk that deserves a bonus a big bonus. Hope he is trying to join the CPD, hell just give him a badge. If he had one already he would have been stripped.
I hope the bad guys die of their wounds!
If he was a Chicago Police Officer, he would be stripped and facing firing!

They should tape record the communities "comments"after one of these type of shootings. We live in bizarro universe.

Good gun confiscation skills, and then the shooter had the wherewithal to aim and fire striking two separate offenders.

Special Ed rushed to the scene to strip the clerk and when told he had nt such power bought 6 Twinkies and red pop instead.

This was the initial report that the department put out to the media... All I'll ask... Where charges filed on the "offenders".... Hmmmm.... Flip the script on this one
Victims/offenders will be filing a lawsuit against the CPD for failing to protect them from the store clerk.
