The last couple months, our illustrious young CAPS ladies who have spent most of their career inside have been holding themselves down with a uniformed P.O. at one of the local coffee/breakfast restaurants for a community interaction(evt#)/peace circle. Its a joke. I don't think they even interact with the public. These inside spots should be going to P.O's who actually have physical limitations instead of the 8 yr. dollies who are easy on the eyes or in my opinion, not so easy on the eyes.
The only time I saw a " peace circle" in action is in a restorative justice system which is all the latest rage with progressives. In this system, offender and victim sit together and discuss what happened and try to make peace with each other. The offender is supposed to try to make the victim whole, apologize so everyone can move on. In the latest experiment with this that is currently in progress in Lawndale, the offender will not have a criminal record and the victim will be made whole ( the city and county will replace stolen property, no need for insurance ). Yes, it is true.

Now here is what I propose, we need to develop a small task force to identify all the War Squares in the city. That is Phase I.
That way, we can insure that any Peace Circles are not adjacent to them. Once all the War Squares are identified, we can then move on to Phase II - Implementation of Peace Circles.
We also need to get some Federal money for this to develop a computer system to track the War Squares if they move.
Also, we might as well ask for advertising money to run several Public Service Announcements on TV that we are doing this as part of the new "Community Initiative". We need a flashy motto like, "Don't be an Anti-Erkle, just join our Peace Circle." Or, "War Squares can be hazardous to your Health."
ANY money left over would go to buying milk and cookies and coloring books for the Peace Circles.
