- A second teenage boy is in custody in connection with the gang rape of a 15-year-old girl that was streamed live on Facebook last month from the Lawndale neighborhood.
The 15-year-old boy was accompanied by his mother when he turned himself in on Monday morning at the Ogden District police station, according to police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi. He has been charged as a juvenile with criminal sexual assault and manufacturing and distributing child pornography, Guglielmi said.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
A 14-year-old boy accused of participating in the assault and facing the same charges was ordered held after his initial hearing Monday.
Great job by the detectives and officers. If it was possible, someone ought to look into charging the 40 people who watched this live broadcast online and didn't call the police.

What could possibly go wrong with this plan! Oh, by the way, this is the same Pat Dowell that knew of the lack of security and gun thefts in the rail yards but didn't think it was important enough to say or do anything about it. Obviously public safety is at the bottom of her priority list with stroking her ego at the top.
These little POS will probably get probation. The SJWs can't have them spend any time behind bars as the experience would stunt their emotional growth and self-esteem scarring them for life.

I know for a fact that in the incident where the boy was being beaten, drinking toilet water and hair cut people were calling and the system is not set up to handle calls like that. If they did call our 911 system has no protocol to handle the call and would do nothing. With the other incident they also said no one called. Well I'm telling you they did. No address, not sure if it's real and all kids of calls coming in. They just moved on and that was it.

I see divorced parents using the lobby of the 1st District as a pickup/drop off point. I see the teachers using the 1st District as a dumping ground for kids not picked up after school. I see CPS and the parents bitching about the diagonal parking of the squad cars on 17th Street. I see a war of the haves and the have-nots about pickup/drop-off spots (there's a private/elitist school on the corner of 16th/State, not to mention Columbia Univ right smack dab in the middle of this mess). I see the shoplifting at the Mariano's going up 100%. Not to mention the possiblity of one of CPS's finest getting mowed down by someone headed to the grocery store. Just seen on the news about the traffic death in 005 from the police rushing to a shots fired call,now one 66 year old man is dead,unfucken real,ALL THIS OVER A SHOT"S FIRED CALL....Fucken idiots....Now the lawsuits will begin and a family has lost a loved one..AGAIN,over a shot's fired call....

No reason to go through intersections without coming to a complete stop. You won't gain a thing. In this case the officers did not even make it to the scene. It could have been worse as the officers could have been killed. When will the cool heads prevail. There's nothing to gain in this job only to loose! The previous is not such a asshat.
