Worth a Thousand Words

The NFL is losing hundreds of thousands of fans and tens of millions of dollars. And they've resorted to this:

Hiding the players who are so hepped upon "protesting" a country that makes them millions of dollars. Makes perfect sense.

the owners are paying the players to represent the team and the NFL. If the players want to protest they can take off the uniform exit the stadium and buy a ticket for a few hundred dollars then they can enter in civilian clothes and sit for the national anthem.
Problem solved. They can protest on their own time and expense.
The NFL should grow some balls! HA, HA

Why did I do three tours in Iraq? Shanon Sharp says the American flag is just a price of cloth, and not worth dying for( how would he know on his perch on fox sports 1). I was an MP- we fought every time we went out on route Irish.Every convoy to and from the airport, was a bloodbath. I saw Americans of every race risk their lives to save the lives of guys they did not know, did give a damn what race they were, for one reason alone, they wore an American flag on the shoulder of their uniform.
I have to say it, I would not go again, not for this nation of ingrates. How far have we fallen? Is the dry rot so far down in our society, that it even erodes the small debt of gratitude for living in a great and free nation? Police brutality? Are you kidding. Why is no one kneeling for the six year old black kid killed in his bed by a stray round? I still see his brains on his Thomas the train sheets, and his mom's screams to God to bring him back.I never saw an nfl player when the precinct cops raised to money to give the poor kid a decent burial ( how sad is that. The only new thing in the poor kid's life was his coffin).
Yet a former quarter back is somehow the next Rev. Dr. King? Why? What did the quarter back ever give up? Is he out rehabbing housing in the poor areas of San Francisco, taking an entrance exam for a low paying inner-city police department to be in the front lines of criminal justice to prevent his imaginary police brutality epidemic, becoming an met to provide care to underserved communities of color? Are you kidding? No he writes a check for that vile Joanne chesimard's groupies. So much for social justice piety.

Vikings Coach Bud Grant knew how important the performance of the National Anthem is. He actually made his players practice it during training camp. Stand in straight lines on the sidelines, right hand on the heart, helmet in the left.

*He may not have won a Super Bowl, but he did win 4 Grey Cups (CFL Championships), and he was a player on the 1948 NBA Championship Minnesota Lakers team.*

Until I see every NFL Team performing to this standard at every game, I am done with the NFL.

Hahahahaha...go on, surround those fools with corporate goons all ya want, everyone sees what's going on. Remember the MLB strike in the 90s, where pro baseball basically went from America's official sport to large scale irrelevance in the space of a year or two? Methinks the NFL may be about to reproduce that dubious result. Well, whatever, not my problem--never much cared for pro sports in the first place.

Goddell is as big an idiot as Lynch for allowing this to continue.
The Media is loving the attention.

I was once a committed football fan but the last few years have shown how the game evolved into political theater occupied by freeloading scholarship hacks. It takes only a few challenged idiots to ruin anything.
Do not watch the NFL.

See below

In case of a potential government shutdown, the Department of Defense has no legal authority to pay any personnel - military or civilian - for the days during which the government is shut down. The shutdown will not affect payments to retirees and annuitants as those funds come from a retirement trust fund.

Please post and help get this out SCC.

I have never resigned from CPD. I have never reached a point of rehabilitation to return to duty from my treating physician or by CPD medical section.

The board took me off pension disabilty roll only because a IME doctor stated I could MAYBE return to a light/limited duty position.

The IME doctor NEVER reported the FACT that my treating surgeon recommened a LaterJet procedure/surgery In 2014.

Never have I been released or found fit to return to duty by my treating physician. The pension board never considered the facts of my health. My union has remained silent.
This injury ocurred in uniform when I pursued a fleeing felon who resisted arrest. All the years of paying dues and my own union still allowed me to be shamed and riduculed all while I was paying a lawyer out of pocket to represent me for a injury on duty. One former board member asked personal health questions at the public hearing which violates HIPPA. My Union has left me to dry and never spent a penny of my dues on my injury which occured on duty doing my job.

No they are not. They are catering to a demographic who thinks everyone else should pay for them. The NFL will have reduced revenue this year. Bank on it.

10/02/2017 04:27:00 PM

I have read reports that the NFL could play to an empty stadium every game and would not lose a lot of money. Their revenue comes from sponsors and TV coverage. When a team like the Bears pays a loser QB like Glennen 18 million for one season that tells you a lot.

Who do I have more in common with. The cop that lives down the block, or the multi-Million Dollar NFL a**-hole?

LET THE NFL DIE! LET KAEPERNICK NEVER FIND ANOTHER TEAM!
That person made more than the average would make over several lifetimes! Gimme a break!

70% of the NFL players are black:

troll: My nephew had that flag drape his coffin years ago, His wife was presented with that flag which had to be grabbed by my brother because she was too weak from grief to accept it. And these pampered football players from high school, college and now pros make tens of millions on their contracts just cannot find the decency to stand and shut their mouths for two minutes disgusts me.
It is amazing after a Sunday or two how fast I do not care about football. Fuck them and the NFL. I will save my attention for the NHL and see how they handle the disrespect the NFL showed my grandfather, father, uncles, son and you and your family who served this country in their youth instead of playing football. And what better place to watch that respect than at a Hawks game which I anticipate will be even more heartfelt this year.

So you can't answer a phone or do any administrative work? I've seen people in wheelchairs missing limbs go to work. Even seen them do the Chicago marathon. Sorry to hear about your problems.

Tim, I would love to watch your video but it is way too long. Edit it down to under 3 minutes and you'll get my people to watch it and help you.

Trust me, I know how the MSS screws people on IOD and then disability.

"A report out of Puerto Rico says their dock workers are refusing to unload relief supplies until they are paid. Wonder if this is the same for their truck drivers. You'll know this is true if you see troops doing all the work."

*****

You mean the troops that are getting paid?

See below

In case of a potential government shutdown, the Department of Defense has no legal authority to pay any personnel - military or civilian - for the days during which the government is shut down. The shutdown will not affect payments to retirees and annuitants as those funds come from a retirement trust fund.

Pathetic and yet so many fools will still watch these fucktards. America has turned into a land of self-hating pussies and people that can't help themselves. How much we've changed over the years. In my home, the NFL isnot allowed on. Teachers laying the flag down, saying they hate the flag and parents showing their "support" of the teachers. Just pathetic
