- The number of carjackings in Chicago has increased in the past few days by dramatic amounts.
With 12 carjackings reported in the area in less than 48 hours, Chicago police have been on alert for suspects, making at least four arrests in the last two days.
In total, there have been more than 700 carjackings in Chicago so far this year, authorities said. Though, they add, arrests are up 50 percent.

Follow up on the arrests and see what these violent repeat criminals get sentenced to. Odds are coming out 2-1 for probation. Jail time is 100-1. Not guilty is getting 4-1.

By the looks of it, The Hispanics on the Eastside/Hegewisch dont take to kindly to the carjackings. Its almost a carjack free zone.

Still not enough carjackings though. I heard a story where a suburban couple was carjacked at gunpoint. Police recovered the car and caught the offenders, but they just wanted to car back. They were hesitant to do a lineup and didn’t like the idea of going to court. These liberals will need to be victimized multiple times before something clicks. It’s going to be many more years before we get back the support we need to do real police work.
Apparently “the community” doesn’t subscribe to Rahm’s Chicago values.
