But if four criminals video/live-stream a kidnapping and torture of a mentally handicapped individual, Judge Hooks can dismiss that evidence out of hand, disregard statutory penalties and grant probation. We seem to recall a similar attack in Bridgeport a while back that got the attacker eight years in prison, and people (or folks) thought that was a light sentence.

Any judge could claim an officer's testimony is 'questionable,' but that doesn't mean the cop lied but it sure as hell takes the attention away from these judges who are letting violent criminals walk out of court with probation all the while knowing that these criminals are a danger to society and will commit crimes in the future, but that's how the money gets passed around. All the lawyers get paid if Joe Jones goes back out and gets caught doing a robbery while on probation. Gotta hire a defense attorney, get assigned a judge and prosecutor and the train keeps rolling. But let's not talk about that. No , let's talk about the way our friendly judges interpret officer's testimonies. And judges, of course, don't work on the streets so some things they hear might sound outrageous to them but this shit really does happen. Truth is stranger than fiction. If you don't believe it take off your robe and go walk around the ghetto for awhile then you might see officer's testimonies more clearly.
Judges also seem to receive discipline when they allow a plea deal for probation to folks who engage in hate crimes against mentally ill people. They'll all get reelected.
Start locking these repeat criminals up. Give them long sentences. Take care of your own side of the street Judge 'Crooks' before you cast doubt on somebody else.
How the fuck can Hooks throw stones at the police? The reason for rising crime is judges who give repeat offenders probation. They've violated probation before many times so your logic is to give them more probation which puts them back on the street where they can have more run ins with the police but what do you care? How many police shootings could've been avoided if these criminals were in jail where they belonged instead of cut loose by hacks like Hooks.
The sheeple need to look at the corrupt judges who let these criminals back on the street time and time again, along with the states attorney's who fail to prosecute and incarcerate them!

And this was in a mostly White District on the North Side! Oh, but the food, the museums, the arts; make it all worth being tortured, beaten up, robbed and humiliated, before the world! I am not a police officer but I do have a huge respect for you men and woman and I know I am not alone. But crap like this needs to get out to the public and the FOP should be doing that. From an outsider, it looks like the FOP doesn't do much at all to help. I got fed up this year and got out of Chicago. Loving Florida where the local papers print all of the felony and misdemeanor arrest each day (not a lot). Good luck, you have a very tough road ahead.

The difference here is the offender in the beating was white and the judge was bought and paid for by the offender's family.

Back in the late 70's I volunteered with the Cook County Court Watching Project. What an eyeopener for an aspiring police officer. The improprieties I observed and reported to our steering committee were critical in bringing change to corrupt practices in the preliminary hearing branches in the Criminal Court building at 26th & Cal. Not only did I see how amenable some judges were in allowing corruption but how some attorneys would set up police officers to look like fools in defense of their clients. Invaluable training for my future employment with CPD. I learned how to avoid answering statements rather than questions. How to be prepared for an aggressive line of questioning and not panic with a hurried response. None of these things were taught at the police academy. I knew so many officers who hated going to court because they didn't know what to expect if they had to testify.I loved going to court because of the experiences I had sitting in those courtrooms and making those who attempted to make me look like a fool become frustrated and lose their purported edge. Police need more training and justice demands another Cook County Court Watching Project.

SCC reports of two inmate deaths just this weekend at CC jail. Also numerous officers attacked and hospitalized in different incidences. Just another weekend at Dart's jail.
BREAKING NEWS. Inmate in Div.11 hung Himself. Another Inmate Killed himself by Overdose in Div 4. Both Deaths happened this weekend at the Jail. Then we have a Sergeant Beaten and rushed out by CFD to the hospital. Then there wasn't many Inmate on Inmate Fights this weekend. That is only with 6200 Inmates in the Jail. We didn't have that much Drama when we had 12,000 Inmates. Im sure Monday Morning all the Directors will Huddle together and watch the Videos for hours and then Call Cara Smith to try and Spin the Story to the Media blaming Officers. Im just thinking how far are they going up the Chain of Command before the blame lays with them.

RAHM FACTS:
Rahm is involved in shady land deals in Pakistan, whereby people are having their land stolen from underneath them. Why does no one comment on that? Truly frightening, and indicative of the kind of monster we have here. He made phone calls and used his position with the White House to orchestrate such maneuvers that would alleviate prosecution of one of his employee's fathers.
Rahm stole an election in 2015, by covering up the LaQuan McDonald tape and he himself, quite "fetal" in nature, claimed that he didn't see the tape until we, the bumbling public did. This set off a chain reaction of events which A.) led to Alvarez being tarred and feathered that led to Kim Fox taking her place and B.) the sad state we have right now, where men, women and are having their cars jacked, their daughters raped, and their sons beaten down for their personal belongings. What's more, it also led to this little situation we have with Judge Hooks, whereby he can vehemently exercise his own prejudices in sentencing, or lack thereof.

Rahm needs to go and no matter if we end up with a white, a black or a brown, we all need to come together to take him out on election day. Teachers, Fire, Police, and regular shmoes need to stand up for what's right, and that is a seat at the table in our own fucking city. Rahm, Forrest and Axelrod can take their arrogance with them, and get the fuck out. When they realize that they aren't in power anymore, they won't be long for living here. And you know what? Business will still come here. Crime will drop, and tourists won't be afraid to come here. Working men and women will be able to raise their families here with the peace and sanctity that comes with having leaders who aren't worried all about themselves, but to the people they actually serve. And that, folks, is what Public Service is.
Rahm Emanuel, you are on notice. A lot of things are going to be coming to the fore before 2019, and you have nothing to blame but yourself, you little dickhole.

Santa visiting gold star families today and Lamon reccord was there filming live on FB outside someone’s home. That’s sacred ground as far as I’m concerned and any PO on scene who allowed it to happen should be ashamed of themselves. There was nothing said about her testifying against the others with regard to this sweet deal. In fact the story states the "Plea negotiations are ongoing with her three co-defendants." So I would expect a similar level of justice for the other three scumbags. They certainly won't get what they deserve. The world has gone mad.

Lived in Chicago for 64 years and do not recall the FOP ever widely publishing or sending out a list of judges who should not be retained. I am not a police officer but I do have a huge respect for you men and woman and I know I am not alone. But crap like this needs to get out to the public and the FOP should be doing that. From an outsider, it looks like the FOP doesn't do much at all to help. I got fed up this year and got out of Chicago. Loving Florida where the local papers print all of the felony and misdemeanor arrest each day (not a lot). Good luck, you have a very tough road ahead.

Our neighborhood public safety committee is keeping list of judges to vote out next time we have a chance. Hooks was added on Friday. We will post our list before the next retention vote.
You know what maybe he's right. Let them out again so they can kill off some more of their fellow community members. If the victim had been a fellow community member this would have never made the news. Please pick the right color victim next time and all is cool.
Why not post their contact info so we can register our support directly. Someone somewhere has the info, make it public for all these pos. Let social media work for you and against them.

What really needs to happen is for season ticket holders not to renew their seats and nobody buys single game tickets. We'll have to wait for next season to see that.

Judge Carol Howard, Sept 8th, she lowered the bond of a serial rapist allowing him out on electronic monitoring. June 15th, she freed a man convicted of setting his girlfriend on fire. July 11th, she gave 4 months probation to a mother who threw her newborn baby off of an 8th floor balcony
