CCL with a Knife?
- A 35-year-old woman stabbed a man who was trying to sexually assault her Friday afternoon in Chicago's Austin neighborhood, the Chicago Police Department said.
Police said at around 4:10 p.m., the 30-year-old man was attempting to sexually assault the woman when she took out a weapon and stabbed him in the forehead.
The attack happened in the 1000-block of North Lawler Avenue, police said.
It is a rare human being who can plunge a knife through someone's forehead. She probably should have stabbed a bit lower and would have prevented a repeat offense one day. Nicely done though.

I am glad a description of this male victim was not released... down grade the charges on the alleged attacker, so the charges can get dismissed by an overworked ASA-- and charge the female with anything you can come up with. -- after all she was concealing a weapon. And she attacked the unarmed alleged attacker. Shit it is crazy some people actually think this way-- to put this sexual predator back on the street to do this to a female, male or one of our golden gender conforming citizens. Lust does not care of about the alleged sexuality of the victim

With the concealed carry law now in effect, by default people should be able to carry a blackjack or sap for self defense purposes. We used to have special "sap pockets" sewn into our uniform pants, and getting hit with one of those things would take the fight out of any offender in a hurry. They would easily break bones, make someone see stars, and put an assailant on the ground with one or two good whacks.
Someone give the lady a gun. She needs to be upgraded, now that she proved the will to defend herself.

Charges will be reduced to assault with a friendly weapon, then dismissed. This poor criminal has suffered enough. Too bad she didn't do a little slice and dice a bit lower so there wouldn't be a "next" victim.

The great thing is, anyone with a FOID can now carry a switchblade.
Since the police hands are tied, cutizens are taking matter into their own hands. They are serving justice.
As a tax payer I would rather be paying for a funeral than paying for his medical care but it is what it is. The victim is OK and that is the way it should be. If IL had made the CCL more affordable and less complicated than every other states she might have had a gun and put the rapist where he belongs.
