Speaking of the Mayor, has a new policy for 2018 for the 019 house watchers. They are not permitted to wear the fan d BWC’s. This is very confusing for me. These canera’s were touted as officer safety by the beloved commander Buslic many years ago. There has been several incidents when arrests were made on hermitage st. , so what is up with this verbal order? Why would these officers be the only officers in any district be excluded from big brother??? Does the mayor feel transparency should go so far? These officers are not inside his residence, so I’m perplexed.
Now (if true) why wouldn't the powers-that-be want cameras on Rahm's block? Perhaps the mayor isn't spending the requisite amount of time at his "residence" to maintain eligibility for the next election? We did hear a rumor that the wedding dress left town a while back, so there would actually have to be a body living in the house.

Certainly wouldn't happen in Chicago today. Last year Fox2 Detroit reporter M.L. Elrick followed one gal around trying to ask her about why she was again running for a councilor seat in a district she didn't even live in and in fact had her car registered to her real home address out of the city. Sounds like a chapter from the Rham files. He also showed up at the home of another councilor asking about city contractor hiring practices. The councilor didn't want to talk. Pity there is no one in Chicago willing to investigate and report the facts. Their Let it Rip program also speaks of controversies in government, schools and and so on. At least they are putting it out there and not simply the lap dog of their mayor and others.

not exactly correct. Some details are on logs and some are not, depending on how the gold star feels. The Rev. Jackson had a detail for years and that detail was on the sergeant's log. I can name a few others, but the mayor's detail to include family members is not and never was on any log. Those people are hand picked

Officers had no clue till there were threats against him then suddenly a “special attention.” Was read in roll call under radar like an off duty going on vacation! Speaking of cameras, we need them at the Area 4 Range. Swat Sgt had a negligent discharge while cleaning his gun. Almost shot a PO. Get this, the Swat shit sgt wanted to cover it up. White shirts protecting white shirts.

for those of you running your mouths about the Sgt in SWAT, you have no idea what you are talking about. there was never any attempt to cover up anything and the Sgt did the right thing and left the unit on his own. And ask any of us in 011 that worked for him and you learn that he is one of the good ones, he always looked out for us and was the first one there when shut hit the fan.
Why doesnt FOP report this to the news media, reflecting on the mayor's police detail not wearing body cameras?????
