Thirty One CR Numbers?
Looks like Alderasshole Arena actually did file the complaints against Officers who spoke out:
- A complaint charging that 31 Chicago police officers made racist comments regarding a mixed-income housing proposal at 5150 N. Northwest Hwy. has been filed with the Civilian Office of Police Accountability.
Alderman John Arena (45th) said in a statement that his office last month filed the complaint and that the use of social media by these officers may have violated Chicago Police Department rules.
“I have the utmost confidence in the leadership at CPD and COPA investigators to review these complaints and respond justly,” Arena said.
The complaints follow last year’s filing by Arena’s office to the Anti-Defamation League. The alderman’s office sent copies of the alleged racist remarks posted on social media by police officers to the civil rights organization, asking it to review the content.

- Second, how did Arena identify all of these people among the hundreds who attended the meeting as Chicago Police? Did someone (as has been alleged) run their plates and compare them against assorted public databases?
That would be a major violation of State Law - using government databases to hunt down citizens expressing their Constitutionally guaranteed Rights to free speech - even if the speech isn't in agreement with the Alderasshole. From what we can glean, no allegations have been served on cops yet, but the thirty-one certainly would seem to have enough to consult a lawyer.

It’s not hard to tell who people are on social media and where they are from. I don’t agree with the aldermaniac but officers should be more discrete on social media for more than one reason.

(Arena is a member of this progressive but really socialist group in the City Council). Then click on the link to the City Clerk where where you will find Resolution R 2017-125 which calls for the taking away of your rights in the FOP collective bargaining agreement. Also read the section on Community Police Oversight and the City's Sanctuary policy which affects the police. Now after reading that do you think Arena and the others are representing your values as a citizen and police officer of this City?
I used to think his predecessor, Alderman Pat Levar, was bad but Arena is worse.

All Litigation is Selective. In other words Prosecutions and Lawsuits do not exist unless and until someone is willing to take up the fight. These CRs appear to clearly be retaliation against Officers for exercising their First Amendment Free Speech and Right to Petition Government, and I dare say right to assemble. Pat Levar had some issues, but he was supportive of CPD and didn't push all of these goofy liberal ideas in the neighborhood. Out of eight candidates who wanted to succeed him, the worst one won. The sad truth is that the remap tilted the scales heavily in Arena's favor. We may not be able to get rid of this asshole now after two terms.

When you file your lawsuits, please name Arena and Perkins and COPA and leave the taxpayers out of it. There are some interesting tools out there for searching Facebook posts looking for certain topics. If you know how to use them you can zero in on people talking about a particular issue or in this case housing project without a whole lot of trouble. You can just use the Facebook search utility to find people talking about a particular subject. All you really have to do this sort out the people making negative comments about it and figure out from whatever personal information is available in there posting to see if they are cops. It really isn't that hard. I can't imagine that anybody was dumb enough to leave the electronic tracks they would have had to leave if they look up license plates

I’m all for it and I actually hope I’m one of them. I already talked to fop who said they are already in talks with a civil rights attorney to sue when these numbers hit. Once your name is put on the CR it never goes away now and gets put on the internet. It’s not very hard. Believe it or not, some officers rant on social media and when you look at their social media profile they have photos of the CPD star with the blue line, etc. Their coverpages indicate that they are employed by the Chicago Police Department. You’ll even find photos of them at the district’s christmas party because they post everything on social media. You’ll even find photos of their close family member. Many follow the Beverly- Mount Greenwood Patch for local news. They post the bars they frequent, vehicle and daily activities. It’s not hard to tell who people are on social media and where they are from. I don’t agree with the aldermaniac but officers should be more discrete on social media for more than one reason.

I f you are not a City Clerk License Investigator, you don't get access to Plate # and Address from the Sticker Serial Number.

The progressive Illinois state tax plan talks about taxing pensions over $50,000 a year. The teacher's union has this on their platform as a way to pay for their raises and pensions. This would further drive this state into the shithole

In Indiana the tax rate depends on what county you live in, it isn't a set rate statewide. I've already been looking and have a destination in mind not too far over the state line. The tax on a pension was around 3.85%. Wisconsin and Michigan are too far from family and friends. Don't fret Mr. Hoosier......MAGA.

Politico‘s headline for this talking point was “Trump escalates his war with U.S. law enforcement after memo release.” “Once the party of law and order, Republicans are now challenging it,” said the Washington Post. The New York Times went with “The President’s Unparalleled War on Law Enforcement.”
TV pundits and hosts have used the same talking point. It’s a convenient way to avoid talking about abuses revealed by congressional overseers in a recent memo filled with facts not in dispute by the FBI.
But is it possible to criticize a law enforcement agency without warring against the very existence of a law enforcement agency? Obviously it is. The notion that it isn’t possible is illogical and utterly bizarre, bordering on mendacious. And The New York Times knows this. Here’s yesterday’s front page of its final edition:
