Shrinkage

For the third straight year, Chicago and Cook County are losing population - and the trend is accelerating:

What could possibly be the reason? High taxes? Crushing debt? Corrupt politicians? Out-of-control crime? No accountability for any of it?

You know what city grew by almost 7,000 residents? Detroit. We are't sure if that 7,000 included fugitive Eddie Hicks though...it might only be 6,999.

The number is larger than that, but assholes are sucked into the city. Let's find P(x) as The statement should be read P(x) is a tax paying citizen. Then let's find G(x) or the asshole who sucks up other people's hard earn income. You will find out quickly that slowly more tax payers are leaving. My neighbor for example, posted his house for sale 2 days ago. I am just hoping he sells his home to some decent people... he is high tailing it to Arizona.

Rahm why is my neighbor leaving our demacratic utopia? I say our because we made this utopia or was that verbage that obama was messing around when he said it

Add to that figure, the number of small Businesses leaving the "Shiitty". Taxes, Parking Enforcement by the Department of Revenue that borders on harassment,Red Light Cameras, and of course crime, makes running a business in Chicago extremely unattractive. And note, that parking enforcement is seldom done on the South or West sides of the Shitty, because they are afraid, and realize that those residents will not pay. Then there is the issue of "Politics". Someone I know owns an auto repair, and the taxes on that business are unbelievable. To exit onto the alley from his business, he has to pay for a permit. The hanging sign requires insurance and a City fee, as does the lettering on his windows. Then the Ward Committee shakes him down for tickets to their golf outing and annual dinner, and the poor guy does not even live in the same Ward as his business, though he does live in the city. Add all this to the property tax, and sales tax, not to mention other taxes at the state and federal level. And then there are the New Breed of Chicago residents, Snowflakes who are offended if you raise your voice to them. Recently, one of his employees was mopping the business floors, when a potential Millennial customer came into the shop. The owner shouted at her to STOP; so that she would not slip on the floor. She shouted back: "That's No Way to Talk to a Client! I am going to give you a Bad Yelp!" And you wonder why Real Chicago Residents and businesses flee? Baby "G"

Socialism = Dictatorship via cabal

Dictate who pays, which is anyone and everyone who has anything to be taken from, use to bribe those who gleefully receive anything and vote for those who provide such.

Scheme works only when allowed by submitting to the taking from.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Reproduction isn’t worth it unless that is your ticket to millions of dollars, ex: divorce/alimony/child support. Marriage and money investment on other human beings(chil’rens) is a waste of hard earned resources. Try to always invest for the future, an example of that would be abortion, super investment, as it ultimately saves you 18 years of slavery. These days it’s about making money and retiring wealthy.

That estimate isn’t worth the paper it’s written on. They have no idea about who the 13,500 were. They might actually saved the city over 100 MILLION if they were they residents that don’t contribute to the city but draw on all their services and benefits, not to mention the county. Costs a lot for the police, courts, hospitals,etc

Exactly you’re losing a populace that paid minimal property taxes and statistically were overly reliant on city services.
But that doesn’t compute with a certain populace that can’t see the forest for the trees.

Great plan hope it works out. Me personally I would rather pay the 7 cent bag tax if I’m to lazy to drive a few extra blocks to a suburb or pay the sugar tax which was eliminated so there is no sugar tax and save the almost 5% state income tax on my and my wife’s pension that you will be paying in Texas on our $120,000 combined pension. Once I pay that 7 cents a bag on the first 85,000 bags a year at 7 cents a bag I will then start to worry

Thanks. It will work out great because Texas has NO state income tax, plus land we bought has agricultural tax exemption which means lower property taxes. Since you have a very healthy combined household income, you will not mind handing more of it over to Jabba Boy Pritzker when he is elected governor. He and his prog lib friends running the city/county/state will work overtime to find more ways to take your money. Continue to enjoy that drive to the burbs for your gas and groceries though.
