Knife Control
With stabbings out of control, Londonistan makes the obvious move:
- London Mayor Sadiq Khan announced a crackdown on knives Sunday in response to the rising levels of violence in London, which recently surpassed New York City’s homicide rate for the first time.
“No excuses: there is never a reason to carry a knife,” Khan tweeted. “Anyone who does will be caught, and they will feel the full force of the law.”
There have been more than 50 homicides in London so far in 2018, and much of the violence is tied to gangs.
Guns are strictly regulated in the United Kingdom and the rising homicide rate in London is directly attributable to a rise in knife-related crimes, with stabbings claiming at least 31 lives to date in 2018. By contrast, New York — which has a population roughly the same size as London — has seen a steady decline in violent crime.
Gee, good thing they outlawed guns. After knives, maybe they can work on acid attacks, then bats.

I never go out without one myself. Heard it years ago from an IL State cop, never go anywhere without a knife. Period. That was good enough for me. Soon to have my CCW too by the way.

No, not exactly. The Homicide Rate, rising or otherwise, is 'directly attributable' to the OPEN BORDER policies of the EU and the overwhelming flow of people from third world shithole countries in the Middle East, namely -- Muslim Immigrants!.. that comes with it.

What part of diversity is the problem? Ten people of different races with the same education, profession, political views and religious choices aren't diverse because they are different races. Diversity isn't the problem. Picking people because they look different is not diversity. England and the US are half brothers so don't waste time being shocked we have the similar issues. We act alike in many regards.
Very short sighted. Why wouldnt he just make laws that make murder and violence illegal? It seems to me that would solve the problems just as well.
I would personally prefer a 3-4 foot steel pipe to a knife any day. The length and weight make it a formidable weapon especially if you are trained in how to wield it. I don't think many people remember a dude in Texas who used nunchuks and killed/severely injured 3 or 4 coppers who tried to arrest him. 2 pieces of 12-14 inch hardwood tied together with a piece of string. Amazing shit.
