not sure if this is the case here, but it has long been a practice with CPD to put incompetents who are connected as commander in units outside of patrol districts. That way they can do less damage and are not such an embarrassment,
IAD has become a junkyard for useless, brainless, unqualified moron exempts. Welch, Washington, and now king-smith.
No integrity whatsoever from Chief down to Commander.
011 th District -- Change is needed.
All of us youngsters still work more than any other district I feel but a new commander is needed.
011 will not change no matter who is there - but a new boss at top would bring fresh life and possibly OT, in the busiest district in the city....

Ok so the bottom half of the building may be tolerable with the new guy. How about up here in the area? Mass Exodus of detectives on this last transfer order! The only reason there weren’t more was because there were no more bid spots to take! Many detectives unhappy with the pricks running the show up here!
Hopefully the new Commander can improve morale and restore order. If not, expect more exits to Area North and South and half-assed effort. Unhappy personnel produces shit work!

Why not- who needs qualified fair intelligent command in a unit that already suffers from an inability to do the job correctly---a unit which should be under the microscope---which should be a standard bearer for legitimate change in the department- timely, complete investigations- equal punishments for all ranks/races....that will never happen anyways so let this fool in.

First rule of Chicago survival: Never, ever, under no circumstances, insult the Chinaman of a clouted one. It could lead to some very bad joo-joo. Never make an enemy for no good reason and incompetency of the clouted one is not a good enough reason. When the Chinaman physically dies you must wait 1 year to make a move on their favored people. Why? The Chinaman's replacement might want to speak up for the clouted one. If not, the clouted one is fair game.

I was shot in the line of duty and Dion Boyd was the detective assigned. He did a great job and the offender was convicted. He also worked in narcotics and was considered one of the best undercover officers in the unit. He will be a solid commander and look out for the workers.

Dont blame IAD, they dont even get to choose who works there. Other bosses dump they're useless friends and dumbass family members in IAD because they dont want them in their unit. IAD is also short about 15 investigators with a shitload of old cases but for some reason theirs investigators have time to do investigations for HR. How can you work cases for another unit when yours are backed up?
Look at the recent promoted bricks. Is it a coincidence that they really have no patrol experience, are in fast Eddie's frat, have worked with fast eddie or are friends of Waller(clouted and hides in office), Bradley (very experienced buttkisser and wife abuser) or fenner(ignorant but nice rack). None of them deserved promotions over those promoted before them who unfortunately are unclouted but experienced. And all of them are part of some infidelity or cheating scandal. But Ben? Nice ass but that is probably where her scatter brain is.
New commanders will sink this department. They've got to be the stupidest group we ever had other than georgas, Ryan and caluris.
