Lori Supports Child Murderers
- Mayoral challenger Lori Lightfoot demanded Friday that Mayor Rahm Emanuel publicly condemn the police union for attempting to derail negotiations aimed at forcing federal court oversight over the Chicago Police Department.
At the same time the Fraternal Order of Police filed its motion to intervene in the lawsuit filed last summer by retiring Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan, the FOP also sought to dismiss Madigan’s lawsuit altogether. The union argued that Madigan lacks the legal authority to force Emanuel to negotiate a consent decree. On Friday, the union’s motion to dismiss was front-and-center in the crowded race for mayor.
Lightfoot, who resigned as Police Board president to run for mayor, demanded that Emanuel publicly condemn a union that stands as an impediment to reforms desperately needed to restore public trust shattered by the police shooting of Laquan McDonald.
Lightfoot claims that since Rahm hasn't been specific enough in denouncing the FOP, he must support their position. We suppose that since Lightfoot hasn't explicitly condemned the murder of a 12-year-old child Thursday night, she must support the gang factions warring in that little corner of Hell.

What a convoluted web is Chicago politics. Actually, Rahm as bad as he is, may be the lessor of the other evils running for mayor.
While there is no doubt that Rahm does not like the Police Department or the officers. There may be a few exceptions for useful higher ranking officers, but he generally does not like us.
Lightfoot, on the other hand, totally despises the Department, the officers, and any thing connected to police work.
Heaven help the Department, the officers and the citizens of the city if she gets elected. She will make Kim Fox look like your loving mother.
And if one thinks the police are fetal now, wait.
So Lightfoot wants "progress and reform" in the CPD. Start off with City Hall and the clouted exempt staff of political hacks and morons who have completely destroyed CPD morale. Under analysis, the so-called promotion process is nothing more than the clouted perpetuating this clusterfuck by "promoting" the newly clouted.
Intelligence and street cops with outstanding arrest histories are irrelevant to the suckholes at Fort Fellatio. Accountability, "merit" and transparency, my ass. CLOUT RULES!

The madigan lawsuit and consent decree were orchestrated by Rahm and madigan to specifically get around the restraints of the FOP contract. This was recognized by a chief on the department who quit the same day Barbara bird's boy toy, rewarded as a chief in CPD, told the puppet superintendent that the mayor ordered the scam to go forward. From that day on the mayor has sold the department out. The only ones making out in this is the Taft law firm, who have billed the city in the millions for work that the Corp counsel was hired to do.

Hmmm??? Very interesting. I did a quick search on Ms Lori Lightfoot and from what I can find -- or more accurately, not find, is her condemning any of the following people or organizations:

Ms Lightfoot's silence on this matter speaks volumes.
As such, until she issues a written Condemnation of the above people and groups, one can only assume that in some manner they have her support in full or in a partial manner.

Lightfoot seems to have a problem with labor unions representing their members. If she wants to be mayor, she should be intensely questioned about the city's minority set-a-sides that routinely side step hiring potential employees who are union members. She should also be asked about the city violating contracts with AFSME to eliminate jobs. Hey Sun Times wake up!

McCarthy in the race reduces Vallas' chances at a runoff, which I suspect has been the mayor's plan all along. Rahm wants to win it outright, but, if forced into a runoff, he wants Lightfoot as his opponent, pure and simple.
