How many times has Rahm actually stayed a weekend in Chicago this year? We've heard the estimates are as low as four weekends so far. Every time we turn around, he's on some trip or another, perhaps lining up a retirement job?

Here is how it goes. On Friday he holds a press conference to broadcast to the public that crime is down. He hurries to get of of Chicago as criminals go and do the usual no hold bars destroying the city. On Monday he plays like he had no idea what went on over the weekend and all he s good.
You would have thought with a few years to come up with a plan Special ed could tamp down on weekend crime. Everyone knows when the weekend comes things are going to get crazy.
It like groundhog weekend it just keeps repeating. Sad part is everyone knows people will loose their life to senseless murders. They even know which area will have people shot, raped or robbed. It happens every week.
When is Rahm or Special ed going to end this violence. I'll bet they are making a lot of money off of others misery.
Or maybe he likes to travel, or maybe Chicago is no longer a pleasant place to spend the weekend.
He was supposedly here this weekend, doing bullshit in Brighton Park.
It's toooooo daaaaamn dangerous to stay in Chicago over a weekend, just look at the news stories. At least Ramn could comment about about all the crimes, after all he is the Mayor. Remember when he would at least say, "take it to the alley" or "these aren't our values" or "we stand with....bla bla bla." Now he says nothing. And best not to say anything when you are a loser.
Rahm did more damage to the city than any previous Mayor. Rahm has to go.
Most of his fundraising is in New York and Hollywood. He only cares about his re-election. He also wants to avoid the Negative news of the loss of the city to roaming bands od savages. He also doesnt have to worry about is home. He has a full detachment of elite police guarding it.

Just Curious, as a taxpayer does Rahm take his CPD security with him & most likely family when he is out of town and what is the daily expense cost of this to the City ? Is he paying for his travel costs or disguising it under "City Business"? All to escape blame for the weekend shitstorms occuring this summer by his young south and west side "Amish" constituents who like to do their shopping around midnight along the Mag Mile because of the "smash and grab" discounts offered by the retailers who pay such high property taxes for the chance to have their retail establishments ransacked each weekend.
And all the Rat has to do is mention the city once or twice and that trip is paid for by US!!!

No joke here but IAD went after one guy for the nights he was sleeping over at girlfriends house. Even with his full home in City.
Sustained case took three years for sustained case to go to Police Board.
Took only two days at police board to prove IAD was fabricating case.
Found not guilty by board. But cost of defense was on officer wirh no aid from FOP.
Sad but true.

Yes he takes his commander who is paid over $175,000 per year,and 4 security specialists who are paid over $127,000 a year each and on "trips" they get paid unlimited overtime,and the other 18 on his detail stay home and get paid for it! The details years ago when the mayor was out of town,the guys who remained were put in districts to bolster manpower,now they are to good for this! To make matters worse they also get a pension at levels way about their rank as they all are patrol officers,the political class just taking more and more from the pension fund!

Throwing the gauntlet down! You are not the first one looking to challenge the residency rule. Over the years lots of people have flaunted their non-compliance. And, ultimately, they all got the same answer. Since 1975, they were all fired! But, the cases against them were not about where they spent their waking hours, but you probably already looked into the subject and are quite sure about your challenge and your footing. In other words, only a dope would tug on Superman's cape without knowing with 100% certainty that he was not going to get his ass kicked.
There are plenty of cops with the time on to do so that don’t spend a weekend in shitcago either. What business is it is ours? It’s a free country, if they come to work when they’re supposed to how is it our place to mind where they are on days off?
