Our Stat-Guy came up with some interesting data. Here's the last Cook County election for States Attorney:
That's a precinct-by-precinct breakdown of who voted for Foxxx. The darker the blo....er, we mean red, the more votes she got.
Here's two other maps:
Those are Homicide tracking maps for 2017 and 2018 and you'll notice the concentration of killings happen to line up with Foxxx's voting base. So the people (or folks) bitching the most about bloodshed are the exact same people who voted for someone who is releasing predators back into the neighborhoods where the bodies are laying thickest on the concrete.

On Monday those two guys, Rahm & Ed, who were so stunned at their press conference at all the violence and had no plan (you would have thought someone should have stayed up all night before to come with any kind of a plan) said the police can't quell the violence alone, could use copies of these comparisons. Maybe this could be a clue as to why all these shootings are occuring in certain neighborhoods. Please send copies to the news media in Chicago as they are unaware also because they don't read "insignificant blogs"!!!

Here is another map for consideration. Property Taxes collected by ward.
The 42nd ward paid the most, over 25% of the total for the whole city.
The next 6 highest wards 2nd, 43rd, 32nd, 44th, 47th, and the 27th paid about another 25%. So 7 wards(All North Side) paid over half over the $ 4.4 billion in property taxes collected in 2015. Compare the 42nd ward's $1.1 billion to the 15th ward's $20 million...it is only about 54 times more.

To the Editor,
I, along with many others, am shocked about the amount of violence this past weekend.
I believe that the police are doing all they can to prevent the violence but I also believe that the rest of the criminal justice system in Cook County is failing the public.
Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle has publicly stated that way too many black males are incarcerated and she has made it her mission to address her concerns. She has influenced State's Attorney Foxx, Chief Judge Timothy Evans and Sheriff Dart to adjust their policies to follow her beliefs.
State's Attorney Foxx has instructed the Felony Review Unit of her office to limit the number of felony charges brought against individuals who are arrested with a firearm within Cook County. The Chicago Police Department has recovered over 5,000 firearms in 2018 but I doubt if even half of those arrested were charged with a felony. The clearance rate for murders in Chicago is under 15% for 2018 and if one removes the domestic related homicides and the homicides where the offender is deceased one will unfortunately discover that the actual clearance rate is under 10%. I have been informed that detectives have asked CCSAO, Felony Review Unit to approve charges against individuals on many other cases but have been turned down because they want additional evidence. I was really shocked when I heard that of the 66 reported homicides from July 2018 have resulted in prosecution in only 1 incident.
Chief Judge Evans has instructed the judges in Bond Court to release as many individuals as possible on recognizance bonds. It makes no sense, to me, that an individual already on parole or who has previous bond forfeitures should be granted a recognizance bond. I also find it troubling that when an individual who has been released on a recognizance bond fails to appear, the judge whom he was to appear in front of issues a ruling of "bond forfeited, case stricken, no warrant issued". There are no sanctions attached to failing to appear for the hearing!
Sheriff Dart is allowing individuals already on parole or who have failed to appear in the past for a hearing to walk the streets on home monitoring. There have been credible reports that many of those released on home monitoring are not being tracked by his office and he is failing to advise the public of same.
The police are trying their best but the remainder of the criminal justice system is failing the citizens of Chicago.
Note: I am a retired police officer with 33+ years of service with the Chicago Police Department and was fortunate of having served in doing investigative work for 30+ years of my career including assignments as Commander of Vice and Narcotics, Deputy Chief of Organized Crime and Detective Division and Deputy Superintendent of Internal Affairs.

To the editor and readers to this blog. I recommend you read today's column by Fran Spielman on page 8 of the Sun-Times, headlined "Rahm Blasted for Violence 'Victim-Shaming'". In it, Spielman reports that the mayor was accused of "victim-shaming" by the ex-city Urban League president for citing an absence of "values" and "character" in black community following a weekend when 71 were shot in Chicago. Shari Runner said the mayor's blame game was offensive and insensitive to the African-American community.
Really?
For the first time that I can remember, the Mayor of the City of Chicago finally said something that should have been said long ago. For once, Emanuel hit the nail right on the head.
What was offensive and insensitive is that none of "leaders" of the "community" bothered to come out and condemn the violence. No Jesse, no Tio, no Fr. Phleger, no Jamal, nobody. And there are no protests planned, at least as of today.
What is a shame are those residents in the "community" who are struggling to follow the law, who are trying to do the right thing, who genuinely fear that by coming forward, they will be targeted because the police can't protect them or that will be shamed as "snitches."
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, despite the pablum coming from the progressives in our society (i.e., throwing money at the problem will solve our social ills), morals, values, and character do matter. And it is not "white" moral, values, etc. Morals, values, and character are universal; they are the key!
Once the politicians are brave enough to accept this and begin to hold people accountable, then I suspect we will begin the long road back to a civilized society.

Ok. Do you know American Constitution is not explicit on the right to vote? However, it is inherent and several amendments guarantee right to vote at the age of 18, free of racial discrimination and protected by Equal Protection Doctrine.

FYI: That's the 39th Precinct, 19th Ward. 91.4% in favor of Foxx vs. 8.6 in favor of Pfannkuche
Also, Precinct 32, Ward 40 includes the cemetery boundaries. It's just the way the map's drawn.

The boundaries of all city cemeteries are included in the nearest Precinct/Ward. Even bodies of water and city parks are included in nearby precincts. It's just how they've drawn the ward/precincts maps.

There are Apts at 111th/Pulaski. The demographic there is one of the big problems on 2211's beat. If you go into the cemetery next to them you can see the nice gang graffiti they spray paint there. But shhhhhh!, white people and the police are the problem.
Why is real estate so high on the northwest and southwest side of Chicago , we receive less Police patrols , we keep our streets and alleys spotless. Same service garbage collection which is an added hidden tax , many have metered water ,same street cleaning schedules ,snow removal . We do not call Police for family disturbances 24/7 , no baby mama ,daddy drama , we donāt disrespect our grandparents, need safe passage to attend schools or need free breakfast and lunch for our children . We actually make breakfast and lunch ,walk our kids to school . Why are we paying 3-4times more for a home ?

Hoke had 25 Department Commendations and over 100 Honorable Mentions prior to becoming a boss and he received no meritorious promotions.
