Incompetent, "Quitter Rahm"! Why does the Media continue to ignore the incompetence? Why does the Media continue to kiss Rahm's ass; Oh wait, the Media IS BIG BUSINESS! The Tribune is a Corporation, and the Dying Times, is also big Corporate bucks, until "Me Thinks Sneed" is unemployed. Rahm" was great for the bankers, who loaned money to the City, at interest rates that would make a Mafia Capo blush! Then there are the contractors,the private clubs where Rahm visits to get campaign contributions. But what about "The Children" and "Chicago Values"? "Quitter Rahm" loved to talk about how every tax hike was for "The Children". So he closed 50 schools, the largest number of schools ever closed anywhere in the history of the USA. Then again, did the phony Tough Guy from Wilmette really give a shit about the Chicago Public Schools, he sent his kids to the exclusive Lab School at Univ. of Chicago. Then remember, how Chick Filet, "Was Not Chicago Values", because the founder didn't agree with Gay Marriage? Rahm really cares about Gays, so he understaffs Boys Town, his District of Residence. 19 coppers and Sergeants, 19 assigned to guard his house and family, NOT COUNTING HIS PERSONAL DETAIL OF PRETEND SECRET SERVICE AGENTS! AND TAKE NOTE; HE ACTUALLY HAS A TEAM OF FEMALE COPPERS TO CART HIS WIFE AND DAUGHTERS, BECAUSE THEY CAN'T STAND THE SIGHT OR PRESENCE OF MALE CHICAGO POLICE OFFICERS! And as Rahm prances off into the sunset, Black and Brown kids will be left with a police department, that is afraid to stop the predators who will kill and maim them. What does Lisa Madigan have to say about the bloodshed in Chicago? She knows so much about police practices she cut and pasted boilerplate language for a federal consent decree just like all those other decrees in failed democrat run cities put into effect by lifetime appointed progressive and left leaning federal judges.
After all, she cleaned up her father's political shenanigans and reformed state government. And changed the reputation of state politics which is known for established day to day corruption and ineptness. Wonder if she would get a federal consent decree with federal oversight for her father's democrat dynasty and absolute control in broke ass Springfield.
Four hundred plus homicides and Lisa Madigan hasn't a clue or a strategy to stop the violence directed against her favorite identified extremely loyal democrat voting block. Useless political hack who has people of color's interests in mind. Yeah right.
If we can just have an artist to make quilts or decorate pairs of shoes in the name of the 400 victim's to be used in a public exhibition to raise awareness in front of city hall or the county building (not the two-six jailhouse Leighton building).
I dare not suggest an anti-violence march on the interstate as a form of advocacy for additional government funding mechanisms for sustainable jobs, better education schools, ceasefire like urban violence reduction movements, free college with more free section 8/link assistance, more generous taxpayer fruneral home assistance and democrat exclusive voter registration drives.

Does anyone here remember how the media reported news of casualties in the Iraq war? They started out each report with the words "another grim milestone", and then they would announce the current number of battlefield fatalities.
Does anyone have to wonder why they don't use these same words delivered in a somber voice at the beginning of every story about Chicago violence? "Another grim milestone as murders topped 400 in the city of Chicago..."
We all know that it wouldn't fit the narrative.

The US Navy just had a class of 16 corpsman finish interning at Stroger Hospital. They couldn’t say enough how their training in the trauma unit was so beneficial for combat.
The report said this was the first such class for corpsman, but I always thought the military had trauma surgeons do a stint there.
Anybody know for sure?

Yesterday I heard on the radio. WBBM. That navy medics had a send off after learning to deal with shootings that may occur in war. And where did they go to learn this skill? Stroger Hospital! One interviewed said it was intense to see someone come in with 15 bullet wounds. Holy Crap if that isn’t the most embarrassing thing about the city of Chicago. They are teaching doctors who will eventually treat war wounds at a city hospital. This belongs in the what fuck section.

A lot of this crime comes from one particular group of folks. Media too scared to report on these folks and have to place the blame on others always.

The media in this town only care about "gun" violence, not the culture of general mayhem and fuckery that surrounds it. It's like "gun" violence exists separately and can be cleanly eliminated with special legislation, much like targeted antibiotics do their work. Wait - you mean the "crime fighter" K Johnson led the 011th District to the lead spot in the body count? It's a good thing they put him in charge of the academy now. The new recruits need to learn from his vast wisdom. I'm sure he has many useful strategies to share. And clearly he knows how to motivate the troops to be "crime fighters" too. The recruits will learn so much. These will be the greatest classes of policemen EVER.

Corpsman are the equivalent to Army Medics. They are NOT doctors, aka surgeons.
SF Medics and PJs have more medical training than Corpsmen/Medics.
Also PAs (Physician's Assistants) is a military MOS

Would be the only worthy expediture made by the oak park prog pols in decades.
OPPD only enables oak park progs to stay cmfortable with their heads up their own asses.
Were OPPD to go fetal, the prog wailings would rival the banshee and would echo off of the Gold Coast skyline.
