- Elon Musk may have violated his company’s code of business conduct and ethics after he was captured smoking marijuana with podcast extraordinary Joe Rogan on Thursday, a report stated.
CNBC reported the Tesla CEO's public puffing could hurt his professional career.
"Tesla also asks that you do your part by following safety and health rules and practices and reporting (either openly or confidentially) accidents or any unsafe equipment, behavior (such as use of illegal drugs) or conditions to your manager, supervisor, Human Resources or the Legal Department," the company's code of business conduct and ethics states. "Violence and threatening behavior are not permitted, and under no circumstances should you bring a weapon to work. Employees should report to work without being under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol. The use of illegal drugs in the workplace will not be tolerated."
This along with the pending overseas lawsuit where he accuses a professional rescue diver of being a child molester numerous times, he seems almost perfectly sane.

Was it legal for him to smoke weed in the location where he was giving the podcast? If so, he hasn’t broken any of the company code - provided he did not show up to work high. I’m assuming the podcast was not while he was on Tesla grounds or working on Tesla cars.
Still not a good example and done in poor taste, regardless. Sends the wrong message, as evidenced by their stock decline.

So is weed illegal or legal? Feds claim it's illegal, usually - unless you have a federal license to grow and consume it, and there's something like 7 or 8 of those issued. States are a different matter entirely.

Too bad cannabis is LEGAL in California. Plus Elon Musk’s net worth is $20 BILLION and the guy is the owner. He can do whatever he wants. He’s not running heavy machinery at the planet. Give me a break! Maybe the state should allow coppers to get a medical card. There would be less suicides.

Smoking pot will only increase his standing with the left. Rules are not for the leaders only for the led. Elon has become one of the biggest scammers the world has ever seen. Has anything he is involved in worked as advertised? Sort of like the politicians in Chicago, smoke and mirrors until it gets to hot then bale out and find a new scam.

Elon Musk has just Jumped the Shark...Those who say smoking MJ doesn't affect your judgement, take a look at Willie Nelson, Snoop Dog, Jimi Hendrix, Lady GaGa, and Justin Bieber to name a few.

With bankruptcy on the horizon why put good money into pensions. They won’t be paid out anyways. Look at Detroit to see your pension future.

a legal loop-hole that would give his money
man Michael Sacks unfettered access to Police
pension money to be bundled into "saleable debt"
to make commission in perpetuity from while
retired Policemen are reduced to mincing onions
into cat food with what's left of their pension
after paying their medical insurance.
"Redistributing the pain."
