30 Felony Charges
- A man is facing 30 felony charges for using a stolen credit card last month at five different locations in northwest suburban Rosemont.
Salvador Nunez, 18, of Rosemont, was charged with 15 Class 3 felonies for unlawful use of a credit card and 15 Class 3 felonies for identity theft, according to a Saturday morning statement from Rosemont police.
Perhaps the Rosemont Police should take a look at the Crooked Commander Johnson - he could catch 276 felony charges minimum for cashing Social Security checks for 23 years and another 276 felony charges for identity theft plus whatever forgery charges they could make stick.

276 checks and a cover up!!!
Get that greedy fucker Johnson
23 yrs to start
too bad you can't charge him on counts
of using a phony accent
A certain Chicago drug dealer is gonna wipe out
an entire ghetto. Sugar cubes soaked in foxxx piss
marketed as LSD. One cube and all you want is
candy bars to munch on while you watch your free
Netflix.
I hope Kim Fox is going to change him for every check cashed.
Wait a minute... You mean Felony Review actually followed the way the law is written? What is this world coming to?
Just remember, merit made by Big Ed, stamped of approval by Rahm. Fail.
Is he an illegal? If yes, deport his ass.
If it happened in Cook county he has nothing to fear. Those charges will be dropped
Mr. Nunez is a young man who just turned 18. At this point what do you expect? Despite all our issues, I'm still proud to be a Chicago police and not a suburb. At the end of the day, I am still the "real Police" after all these years.
Poor guy was just trying to raise money for the kids in his after school At-Risk program.
What kinda hocus-pocus laws they using in Rosemont. I thought if the alleged offender denies knowledge and/or using items= no crime, no charges
Was he I bonded Out?
Will the Feds try Johnson?
I hope they lock his ass up
Sal, guys like you give a bad name to Identity Lock.
You musta bought 15 mundane pieces of shit, stuff
you coulda bought yourself if ya had a job.
Only 30 felonies and just 18 years old. ten dollar "d" bond and boot camp should straighten the little "g" out.
I may be mistaken, but I don't think Rosemont has to "get approval" from the CCSA office......
But if they do, it sure shows a bias against CPD who can't get any approvals for retail theft, identity theft, etc...
Any Rosemont officers out there in the know?

I’d sure like to know what other crimes he’s been part of during those 23 years.
I was the victim of identity theft . The perp was caught and the phony financial crimes detectives refused to investigate and screamed at me. Davina Ward, Welch, and Ferguson refuses to investigate. Ward was in BIA at the time. Now going to fbi. Lucki retired before going to BIA. He will have to talk to the FBI.
Unfuckenbelieveable !!!!!
crimesha will use the 10 count rule and cut it down to three felonies.
then drop all charges.
liberal logic at work here.
+++++ Salvador Nunez, 18, of Rosemont, was charged with 15 Class 3 felonies for unlawful use of a credit card and 15 Class 3 felonies for identity theft, ... Nunez was scheduled to be brought before a judge for a bond hearing this weekend. +++++
Don't get confused folks, Salvador Nunez *really wasn't* arrested, charged with 30 felonies, and jailed 'til his bond hearing.
Lemme clarify that -- the thing is that it will seem like it never happened after Nunez gets out of jail on a $20 dollar Bond, all thanks to some asshole Crook County Judge asking Nunez 'how much he can afford to pay', then Nunez subsequently skedaddles off to Mexico never to be seen again in the USA. Well, at least by that name.
It will be like the entire episode never really happened.
(There's 5.2 Million Stories in Crook County IL, this will be one of them.)
[Go Bears!]
OT: In the AMC messages 30+ guns of various, makes, models and calibers were reported missing from a Northside location on 15 Nov 18. But, has a date of theft of 14 September. Unbelievable. I believe the 30+ is being conservative, since the person that reported the theft is not the original owner, just the person discovering. Wow...just wow. Hopefully the owner wasn't a machine gun or Uzi enthusiast

You could be thinking of a different Johnson. I worked with the guy for years. I could barely hear him when he spoke, let alone an accent. What kind of accent: southern, Boston, New York, French or Spanish. That could explain why I couldn't understand him . LOL
A dreamer? Living the dream?
"Real Police" shut the fuck up, you're an embarrassment to CPD. To all our suburban officers, please accept our apologies for this tool.

“Real stroke” is more like it. Listen boy wonder, I’m guessing you tried and failed or knew you couldn’t get hired at the suburban police department, so you took the easy route and went to Rahms new and improved CPD, where everyone is welcomed. So let’s educate you a little, you worthless snowflake, criminals knows no boundaries, criminals do not care where or who they victimize, it can happen in the suburbarbs or in the city of Chicago. So the next time you get in the foot pursuit for your bag of weed, while screaming 10-1 in the radio, know that there is a suburban officer that is probably do the same, without screaming 10-1 of course. The one big difference is that the suburban POs paycheck is probably substantially higher then yours.
For you “real police” there is never a easy day, so thank you for the job you do for the citizens every day, don’t hear that enough.
Stay safe.
In My Opinion, The Real Story Is This; An 18yr old criminal and a CPD Commander Share The Same Moral Compass. Which one was worst ? A man with massive benefits, trying to obtain more ? A 18yr. old trying to game the system ? You be the judge.

You are a genuine fucking retard.
And no offense to retards
Myself, along with thousands of others at that age we’re working full time jobs.
Others were joining the military or in school.
Oh your the “real police”?
I was a Chicago police officer for 31 years but I never looked
down my nose at my fellow suburban law enforcement officers.
Don’t want to burst your bubble but the suburban guys are the only
ones left that can actually do police work and their days are numbered.
You must be a fucking troll. Or a three year wonder
Go back to your x box
Cook County Gimme Chance with a $2 solid bond.
Y’all b piling on, an puttin bogus 30 case on that boy, for no reason.
He had only just one credic card and dindu nuffin but go to school and chaint his life ‘round.
The crooked commander post nearly broke the record of the crazy inspector/Captain Gusti G several months back that included the inspection of the color of ones stockings. Pull your pant leg up honey, show me the color of those stockings.
It just doesn’t stop anymore does it

I don't know how long you've been the "real police", but you may want to wake up and come back from fantasy-land before your next shift. I know many coppers around the country, and although we SEE a lot more in a day than most, they DO more than us.
And by the way, that 18 year old is screwing other people and I'm glad Rosemont took the time to do it right rather than 19-Paul it. That's what the Real Police do.
Rosemont - huh? My guess is that he tried to defraud someone connected to the powerful. If the charges stick we will know that is the case.
I would love to know who made deals with who to build that den of thieves by O'Hare, but it is probably better for my longevity that I don't.
You will notice that Chicago never has any headlines like this anymore.
The financial Crime UNIT should call itself THE FINANCIAL MONITOR UNIT.
The only cases they investigate are exempts family members and Friend of the Mayor (BANKS).
Shut them down and bring all those experts back to the area they can handle those counterfeit check case from the currency exchanges.
BUT you GOTZ your money back to crime occurred.
Just what did he to piss off someone.
Unbelievable that Kidney Bean still has a job.

You might want to read the article. There are state credit card charges and that's how he was charged.
OT/ speedy recovery for the CPD police officer who was buckled off her horse tonight @ the Bears game. Very scary...
Allegedly took please by golly
He is going to be sentenced to theft school. Do they still do that? I’ve been out of the game for awhile.

I hope you are a suburban cop posting nonsense like this just to instigate and drum up some ass kissing for suburban departments. Because if you really are CPD, you’re a moron. How do I know? Because I left the “real police” as you call CPD to join a suburban department, where I have had far more training and been encouraged and allowed to do a much wider variety of police work, which has made me not only a more competent cop but also a happier one. That’s right, I don’t chase the radio all night going from one BS domestic or shots fired call to another. But I do meaningful work for a community that actually appreciates me. And pays me what I’m worth. And I have enough class that I don’t talk shit about cops from anywhere else.
So whoever posted that drivel, shouldn’t have. For a lot of reasons.

To the real police wanna be. Grow up before they eat you alive. 2 weeks on the does not make you the real police.
If the " real police guy" is the real police the city is doomed. He might be living proof that you can't fix stupid.

To get those many charges he had to have gotten a credit card from someone in the power structure.
"real police' for the financial stability of your family, i hope you don't get called to random drug testing.
We are all blue try and remember that!!!!
