This asshole is the actual owner of Many Clouds Smoke Shop [corrected] in Woodstock. And like most keyboard commandos, he took the posting down as soon as he started experiencing some backlash that would undoubtedly affect his business and attempted to grovel.
We would certainly hope that McHenry County makes it abundantly clear that this type of sentiment has no place in their community, especially right after a Deputy gave his life in the line of duty.

Once again, the left side of the aisle speaks out, offensively, and then runs and hides when they are shown to the world what hypocrite they truly are.
The left demands company heads to roll when something offends them and then wants a boycott to ruin their business. The city council and every resident in the Woodstock area should be made aware of the hate coming from this store. Is this a business that Woodstock wants to represent their community? One that espouses hate? Perhaps everyone should be made aware of who the owners are. Maybe there should be a boycott and media campaign to this effect. Will it happen? Doubtful.
The left screams at the top of their lungs of cultural appropriation and how people who have no background of the offended culture must immediately stop using their culture. Go take a look at the company's website! Advertisements that depict Native Americans in such a way, you would think that this company was from the 50's advertisement game. Insulting! There is a great deal of Jamaican culture on display and for sale. There is a picture of the owner(s) proudly standing at the airport showing of their T-Shirts. The assumption is made that they are the owners as the same car appears in multiple photos with store/merchandise on display. There is also a photo of persons in the store showing off company swag. Weird, no one looks to be of Jamaican descent. Yet the Jamaican culture is proudly up for sale.
I don't have a problem with the business by itself. They want to run a smoke shop, so be it. They got the appropriate licenses and went through proper channels to run a business, good. I, personally, don't have a need for the business so I don't support the business with my money. Someone who has a need for this business will support it. Fine. That's the beauty of capitalism. I don't have any feeling one way or the other about your business. Your business model is yours and yours alone. However, If hate is part of your model, is mockery of another's culture is part of your model, then I hope your model fails.
The ultimate goal should be to put this business on notice in the Woodstock community. Is this the business that Woodstock wants in its community? A company that exudes hate. Every person in Woodstock should be made aware of the comments from this store. From the Mayor, city council, and all citizens in between should be embarrassed. An Officer is killed in the line of duty, a duty to protect the citizens of Woodstock and Northern IL. A person who helps keep the peace so a business like a smoke shop can operate freely. A man with a family, a member of the community who was lost and during our time to pay tribute to his sacrifice this store feels that this is the time to express their hate. The boycott of this business and it's hopeful ruination should be the ultimate goal. There is no place for hate.

Gee, the guy sells to dopers, so his issue with police might go with that territory. The "smoke shop" is a smoke screen for a head shop, complete with rolling papers and other stuff. I doubt that you can walk in a buy a tin of Skoal.
Hopefully the town and their PD will be conducting constant license checks, building code checks, strictly enforcing any parking violations of owner/customers.

I worked at a dispensary, local law enforcement was great. So long as people don’t do anything stupid, there’s no reason to worry about LE. Although as the seargent put it to me, if people stopped doing stupid things he’d be out of a job.
To any young person looking for a career in law enforcement, this jerk is a minority of the people we serve, he is however entitle to protection from law enforcement, no matter what he says. His shop gets robbed I hope our brothers and sisters blue light it over to his business and help out the best they can. I wouldn't spend a dime in his store ever but that's another story.

Just opened my Northwest Herald Newspaper (Yes, I am retired and now living a "world" away from Chicago). The front page was about this A&^%%.The paper also had a full page story on page three. The people up here are not happy! The A&^%% allegedly went to the Woodstock PD and the McHenry County Sheriff 's Office and apologized. I think that he realized that he opened his dumb mouth at the wrong time. He is still a jerk (to put it mildly). If you are interested, you can check out the newspaper's website.

1. Potential customers appalled, some current customers appalled - there could be a current pot head who has a parent or relative in law enforcement
