- Chicago police faced another round of “large group activity” in the downtown area Saturday. Unlike previous incidents, this weekend’s antics played out south of the river in the Loop and Millennium Park areas, according to police reports.
Officially, a police spokesperson this morning said, “there are no confirmations yet on how many were arrested.” CWBChicago confirmed through a source that at least two juveniles were taken into custody.
A group consisting of up to 200 teens was tracked by police officers through the area for a little more than two hours, beginning around 6:30 p.m., according to CPD radio traffic.
CWB even has some footage of lib-turds "protecting" the kids from police:
- Meanwhile, a couple of blocks away, one small group of teens found themselves encircled by women who wanted to “protect” the youths from the police outside of Macy’s, 111 North State. The women had reportedly participated in a march earlier on Saturday, and they happened to be in the neighborhood to offer their services to the vibrant youngsters as the clock neared 9 p.m.
Remember, police are the problem, not 200 "vibrant youngsters" looting small businesses and throwing objects at the police and passersby. Luckily, none of the "vibrant youngsters" were feeling particularly "frisky" at the time.

I was in Indianapolis a few years ago. I saw some policemen following a group of wilding youths in their downtown section. They told me that they had to put up with this on weekends. This is getting to be a national problem. Urban blight.
Why is there even a farce of a show of concern in the protection of lives and property downtown. If you want real change in how this city is run, let downtown burn. The city will lose tourism, conferences, it's many museums and attractions will begin to lose donor funding to support them, businesses will move away from the pressure of their employees who want safety. There will be the non exinstant applications for openings as people will not work in an area that is unsafe.
I love this city and absolutely hate this idea, however, year after year, press conference after press conference, this town's leadership has shown NO care and concern for law and order. The media feels some sick obligation to not/under report the problem at hand. If the media really wanted to be credible, they would put everyone on notice and report everthing wrong. THAT would sell millions of papers. Not this sanitized version to suit some political agenda.
Until this State, County, City, AND Department get's their head out of their collective ass and really want to make this city great. A realistic look at history and social norms must be done.
