Lawsuit for Special Prosecutor
- On Thursday, eight Chicago police officers formally asked for a special prosecutor in the case of Jedidiah Brown, an activist who allegedly assaulted them. Brown appeared with Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx at a press conference regarding her handling of the Jussie Smollett case, and reportedly worked for her political campaign in 2015, yet Foxx's office is still overseeing the case against him. The officers are demanding a special prosecutor take over the case instead.

The sudden departure comes as a document dump earlier this week revealed that the office was largely caught flat-footed by the massive negative response to the stunning reversal to let Smollett walk despite allegedly staging an attack on himself.

This is some sick stuff and should disturb any honest citizen. It’s so hard to wrap my head around the fact that Kim Foxx is the people’s head prosecutor. This is a slam dunk case for a special prosecutor. Foxx is friends with the enemy of the good. The case was fixed from the start. Foxx should have no involvement in anything criminal related ever again.
Any comments from Eddie Johnson on this? Doesn’t he care about his troops?

Geragos, Smellitt's attorney talks tough about fighting the city's civil suit, but a trial, any trial, is the last thing he wants. His client is the first witness called in any civil hearing or trial that goes. Smellitt's whole legal team knows this and they are now shitting bricks about any further court actions. They will do anything to stop them.
What can they hope for? They need the city's suit to go away and for any independent investigation of the Cook Co. State's Attorney's Office to be dead in the water.
One of those things is in the works. The "independent" investigation called for by Crimesha will whitewash the original whitewash. Taxwinkle's people are on it and they'll protect her puppet. Expect no findings of malfeasance.
The city can easily win its civil suit against Smellitt, and there's no way his attorneys will even let it get to the discovery stage. But city lawyers do what they're told and will drop the suit under the right conditions. In the end, all the shot callers are Democrats and they will work together to make all the investigations and lawsuits disappear.
Now would be a great time for some outspoken Republicans to announce their intent to run for any elected office in Cook County. And the RNC would be foolish to ignore this opportunity. The Democrat Party is in freefall here due to their own corruption and hate.

The eight police officers have BIG balls and have my respect for their effort to keep Cabrini Kim's corrupt and racist hands off their case against Jedidiah Brown. Kudos to all eight. I will donate if money is needed for your quest and, if not, if we are ever standing at the rail together, the drinks are on me. I do not know you eight fellow officers, but I am proud of you all.
Acting in both capacities, States Attorney and Public Defender needs to be examined.
How about looking at all her interference and resulting criminal acquittals, plea Downs, refusals just to show how obvious Manatee Kimm was biased against the police during her entire term in office.

The Republicans need to advance a capable candidate for States Attorney and start the campaigning now.
Former Judge O'Brien is not playing with these clowns and will hopefully expose low information State's Attorney Kim Foxx and her failed leadership team of disgraced former federal proscutors and the malevolent acts that have occurred during Foxx's tenure. Time to drain the swamp at that office and dont get me started on the "Lack of Conviction and Integrity Unit" that reports to the so called Chief Ethics Officer, April Perry.
