Correct Decision
- A special prosecutor from the Illinois Attorney General’s office will prosecute misdemeanor charges against Jedidiah Brown, after Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx decision to recuse herself over allegations she had political ties to the community activist.
Cook County Circuit Judge LeRoy Martin Jr., chief of the criminal division, appointed the AG’s office at a hearing Thursday.
Foxx stepped aside from Brown’s case, which stemmed from a 2018 arrest at a protest in South Shore, after eight officers involved in the arrest said Foxx had a conflict of interest because Brown is a political supporter who shared the stage with her at a news conference April 6 at Rainbow/PUSH Coalition headquarters.
Who's the Illinois Attorney General again? Oh yeah, Kwazy Kwame. We're sure he'll be completely impartial in his prosecutor pick.

At what point will our elected States Attorney actually PROSECUTE cases?
Instead of remaining impartial and applying the law where necessary, she instead interjects herself into an unprofessional position, and then should/must recuse herself.
She is so concerned with being seen as “helping the cause,” that she does so at the discredit of her office.
She is an embarrassment to the profession of law in general (which is harder and harder to do these days), and she seems to take actual pride in flaunting the duties of her office, instead opting to push a social agenda.
How about assigning a prosecutors office that has ZERO ties to Chicago instead? We all know Chicago Democrats stick together, assigning Kwame's office will be no better than that moron Kim's

Another case being dumped by a lazy ass state attorney who think she is a public defender.
I always wonder why she didnt become the head of the public defenders office.
May be it easier to destroy something when you are in the driver seat.
You have to hand it to them (which we have done by the way). After years of chipping away little by little look at what we are left with. And as with everything else they touch you know where it’s going from here. It’s just a matter of time.

Seems as though every time cameras on her, Kim Foxx recuses herself. Likely, the root trigger being that with all eyes on her, she'd prove without a doubt, that she is incompetent!

The plan was to find him not guilty and open the officers and city up to a federal lawsuit. It's not about the time he gets, he just needs to be found guilty.

So the AG's office does this all the time all over the state. There are career prosecutors with that office assigned to the criminal division who already are assiged to prosecute conflicted misdemeanors and felonies. It will likely be one of these people. While not for 100% certain, is is highly unlikely that Kwame Raoul will be personally involved in the decision about who this goes to. There are a limited number of people on that staff assigned to criminal cases.
Talk about a meaningless victory! Out of Kim’s juridiction and into Kwame’s.... Out of the cesspool and into the septic tank...
Now they need to find some pictures of Jed and Kwame together so the IL AG's office will have to recuse itself. Maybe then we can try to get an honest special prosecutor from a neighboring state.
