Warrants Denied?

In regard to the possible disbanding of the Cook County Drug Unit being disbanded, it's 100% true:
  • The bureau is being dissolved. The Prelim, Bond Court and Grand Jury unit is going to absorbed by the Felony Trial Bureau, the Special Pros. Unit is disbanded and Courtroom 102 is going to one of the Felony Trial Wings. The Complex Unit is going to Special Prosecutions.

The guy who was the special pros boss is a really good guy, was in the Gang Unit and prosecuted lots of murder cases including a cop murder. They let him go this week. The ASA's are "At Will" employees and they gave no reason for letting him go. Ultimately, there was no spot for him and he did not fit their agenda.
This also popped up:

Past few weeks it’s been almost impossible to get a search warrant when the only thing being searched for were drugs. Narcotic has a total of 29 search warrants denied last week alone for drugs. Things are getting bad.
Perhaps the paper needs to be tightened up, especially in light of the scandal involving falsified warrants?

Or Crimesha's office is using that as an excuse? In any event, when do the layoffs start with the massive reduction in prosecutions?

Anyone still chasing the bags in this day and age, in this climate, and without a contract is an IDIOT.

However, there are definitely plenty of idiots on this job, and they hire more all the time.

Now we can sit back and wait for all the tact/narcotic warriors to regale us with stories about how making a 2-rock pinch of a 60 year old hype, or a 6-bag heroin pinch of a white kid hopping on 290 heading back to the suburbs is “real” police work, how not just anyone can do it, and how it saves the city.

Listen, you can swing a dead cat in some neighborhoods and hit somebody carrying a pack.
No one cares, and no one has for a while now.
Anyone who hasn’t seen this coming isn’t paying attention.
And most good cops who know better stopped chasing dope a decade ago.

So no more narcotic warrants or prosecutions? Well the way I see it is if that's the case then there is absolutely no reason for our overly clouted narcotics unit. Send all the p.o.'s and sgt's back to the districts so I can get a damn day off!!

Off topic, but maybe interesting to someone. It seems that in 001 many of the cameras have not been syncing with event numbers, with some as far back as last November. So word came down that everyone has to go thru all their recordings that do not have event numbers, listen or watch for an event number and then document it manually. Some POs have hundreds of recordings that didn't sync with event numbers. At first they tried to blame the POs but then realized it was a hardware glitch. So now with the warm weather approaching we are taken off the street for hours at a time to find the event numbers that didn't sync. Ahhh, the city that works!

The4 borders are open and the cartels south of the border are making billions of dollars from the casual use of heroin, cocaine and fentanyl. Their "product" is poison an d the should destroy the native populations in sufficient numbers to replaced by non indigenous populations.

Then the cartels can run their political leaders for aldermen, Congress, prosecutors and the like. Then they can make even more money with their "recreational poisons" and hide the fact of overdoses, broken families, despair, untold deaths and the overall decline of The United States of America as envisioned is going on as planned.

Encourage a coalition of rouge narco cartels to fund political parties and candidates who collude and facilitate a just business climate with unsupervised open borders to encourage international trade run by drug cartel partnerships.

And get elected officials to get rid of I.C.E. and customs agents who are counter productive and threaten their overall business mission. I.C.E. and Customs over regulate and obstruct the entrepreneurial spirit of narco organizations. And ease up on prosecution of low level drug customers for Pete's sake. Its bad for the overall business climate.

I was a dedicated prosecutor and formed great relationships with police officers who have become lifelong friends. We respected each other and did good work. I prosecuted cop murders and over 70 felony jury trials. I stayed because I believed in the work. I also saw about 10 % of the police force do 90% of the real police work. I left on my own because I refused to work for the Foxx crew. . I’m guessing you were not one of the 10%? You are either one of the lazy humps in CPD or a hair gel millennial. They did the same thing to us in 011 last summer. Some goofy captain. Same situation, hundreds upon hundreds of videos dating back over 6 months. A handful of people attempted to do it, it just proved to be insurmountable. Mostly everyone laughed and didn’t even try once they saw how many videos. Eventually we never heard about it again. So apparently not a big deal. Sounds like a them problem to me. Brass and politicians went out and spent all this tax payer money on these fancy new cameras because the pooleeceess is racist. My job is to turn it on when I’m supposed to, and turn it off when I’m supposed to. Their job was to ensure they gave up functioning cameras. If they’re not, THEY should probably get those fixed, not us lowly blue shirts. Now, fuck you, pay me.

Shame on the supervision in 001. This is one of the things that is supposed to be monitored by the captain and the lts. to ensure that that officers are being synced. They are supposed to check periodically so this doesn't get too far behind. Our bosses do it in my district and as big as a pain in the ass that is is at least we are fixing it before it gets too far out of hand.

There are some good ASAs, but they are stuck in a rotten enviroment right now, just like many of us are. We can say if they dont like it they can leave, and if they don't leave then they're part of the stink regime, but many can say the same about us. HMMMMMMM......sock puppet accounts? Are these real cops posting this hateful rhetoric? Or is this another page of the Marxist Bible "RULES FOR RADICALS"?

DIVIDE AND CONQUER.

After all, ASA's are some of the most pro-police people in this City. But after reading some of these posts, I would not be surprised if many ASA's start thinking a little different.

To the MODERATOR, take this into account when approving comments. The COMMIES who want to see America and the family destroyed use these tactics. They create fake accounts, pose as cops, instigate in-group fighting and dissent with the goal of creating division between the two former allies.

Prosecutors and Police should be two professions that get along with ease. Yet, two threads in the last 24 hours have created levels of tension never before seen on this website. Organic? Perhaps. Manufactured? Perhaps. Either way, it ain't good and if we have prosecutors and cops at each other's throat KIMMIE and the COMMIES WIN!!!!!!!!

Listen, not every lawyer goes to law school to earn as many SHEKELS as possible. The idea that the man with the most SHEKELS is the most successful is a foreign concept and our great grandfathers would be disgusted by such a notion.

Additionally, many go to law school for the sole purpose of becoming a Prosecutor because they come from a family line of cops and fireman and truly want to serve the city.

Others do switch side to earn money. And that is NOT A BAD THING, ASK OFFICER VANK DYKE!!!!! Wait til one you are charged and on trial, will you hate defense attorneys then? Or will you go search for the best and the brightest knowing that your life and your wife's life and your children's life rest on that attorney's ability to defend your rights?

The mental-midget banter of these lawyer-hating posts are truly juvenile and sophomoric. I personally could rip apart the profession of being a police officer. BUT I WON'T because it will do no good.

But if the BLOG MODERATOR continues to allow these lawyer hating posts, someone will rip your job to shreds. And then you will become angry because the truth hurts. And then you will hate lawyers more and post another hate-filled comment and then the lawyer will return fire and so on and so on. MEANWHILE the Commie-Marxist powers that be will continue destroying our country and our children's future.

Lets keep our eye on the ball. Kim Foxx is a paid commie shill who is funded by an extremist jew named George Soros who wants all of middle America to die. That is the enemy. Not cops, not lawyers.
