Wouldn't surprise me. It takes 4 CTA officers to lock up one juvenile for smoking on a train. Then 3-4 hours to do the paperwork. Then another hour of having them fix the messed up paperwork. If even half of your statement is true, all I can say is, " about time". It is rare to see the police ride the trains or walk the stations. They usually , is assigned to a station, stay downstairs. If you rode the red and blue lines and sometimes the Orange, you will see panhandlers, people openly smoking weed and a host of other miscreants. The Mass transit unit long has been a hiding place for do nothings and that is what they do, nothing.

It’s been a flood recently, and I’ve already received 2 of these types of emails today and it’s not even noon yet. It’s almost as if the department is trying to get out in front of it, in case Lightfoot pulls us out of schools, they’ll say “look at ALL these emails we get about how great it is we are in schools!”. Just find it odd because I rarely if ever got emails about how great we are in schools, let alone multiple a day, before Lightgroot made those comments.

To all the young officers out there please learn how to keep yourselves safe. The Dept bosses will always be willing to sell you out for their benefit or for the benefit of our worthless politicians. Do not believe them when they try to get you to risk yourselves by doing their bidding. Learn the law and learn what you really should and should not be doing. The CPD has a bad habit of asking us to violate people’s civil rights when it suits them and then letting us hang when that suits them. Just look at history and pay careful attention.

What do you expect when the D has been overrun by clout hacks? Years and years of putting the special people in charge has severely diluted the quality of investigations. From the top to the bottom, the blind and incompetent are leading the new and inexperienced. It’s always been like that....the putting of special people in charge. I say about dam time. As a somewhat avid cta rider, I have yet to see a COP riding a cta train. Ever. Nor ever on a platform. Have seen them only up front talking to the booth person. That’s it. Get some riding the trains so they can see what people that actually need to use this mode of transportation experience every day.

According to a Gallup pole in 2017 5.1% of women and 3.9% identify as LGBT and 0.6% identify as transgender. That brings to mind the images of the participants in the pride parade. How many people were shown with facial piercings and tattoos?
Tattoos all over their bodies and painted hair. What form of gainful employment would that appearance bring, even without their painted hair?
Either they live off a trust fund, or are on a government program to be able to support the democratic party?

What is Accountability in the Workplace? The employee accountability definition is the responsibility of employees to complete the tasks they are assigned, to perform the duties required by their job, and to be present for their proper shifts in order to fulfill or further the goals of the organization.
I think it’s fine to hit any lazy or over promoted boss in the city on this blog. But I’m gonna respectfully disagree with the shot on Darlin. I don’t work for him now nor did I at all but I can honestly say that, through my interactions with him and the feedback I get from close friends that I have, he’s a stand up good boss. One of which I can literally count on one hand. He actually cares for the people underneath him and he always has. He’s an advocate for the working police. I can definitely attest to that. I’m sure anyone can have a thousand negative stories about anyone and I understand that but Darlin, in my opinion and more than a few others, is a really good guy.
