- Six men were shot early Sunday in two bursts of gun violence about 20 minutes apart near the Cabrini rowhouses on the Near North Side.
The first shooting erupted around 1 a.m. in Stanton Park. A large group was fighting outside in the 600 block of West Scott Street when someone opened fire and struck four men: a 41-year-old in the shoulder, a 49-year-old in the torso, a 22-year-old in the chest and a 37-year-old in the lower back, according to Chicago police. They were all taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where the first three were in critical condition and the fourth was stabilized.

We heard that Blackwater was contacted and actually turned down the pleas to come to Chicago. Something along the lines of, "Are you f#$%ing crazy? That's like a goddamn war zone!"

Hey bruh— how about you advise the locals to grow a pair or get a pair medically attached; and do as the Israelis did back in the day and provide your own security... or do as the Iraqis did in the late 2000 and activate the “awaking counsels” to secure your own neighborhood. I can name quite a few countries where the people said to hell with this and did something other than expecting someone from another part of town to do something about it. Guatemala did it back in the 1980s against communist, and El Salvador followed suit as well.
