- New York City has a distinctive way of dealing with the homeless: pay for them to live pretty much anywhere in the country.
Since 2014, Mayor Bill de Blasio’s administration has used a program called Special One-Time Assistance to relocate nearly 10,000 homeless people to over 300 cities. The program – which directly pays landlords a year of rent upfront, free to the beneficiary – is a significant departure from past city homeless relocation efforts because it does not require participants to have strong community ties to the new destination.
Under the program, which comes as homelessness is rising not just in New York but in other major cities, NYC’s homeless have moved as far away as Orlando, Los Angeles, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Birmingham, Ala.
Now how about the suggestion that the FOP buy insurance an insurance policy for everyone on the Strategic Subject List / Heat List and see if we can't collect some insurance money for dead gangbangers to prop up the pension?

Shitcago tried to relocate people out of state but their finances are so bad that they couldn't get the deal through...Meanwhile in Shitcago I recall HUD was paying for housing for some needy people in expensive properties at the tune of $5,000 a month if I recall correctly.
If they keep raising taxes there will be a lot more homeless people...just look at our poor governor he couldn't afford the taxes at his property so he pulled the toilets to lower his taxes...You try doing that and see how fast you get indicted...State is a joke...a really bad one at that!
Instead of Insurance policies...See if the FOP can get the OK to open a book based on the murders that continue unchecked...It would work like this, bettors would pick the district they think the first murder of the day will occur in...odds are set by number of murders in the district...you could even do teaser bets like how many will die or by what type of weapon...the possibilities are endless...just like the murder and mayhem in the shitty!

This was a South Park episode called Night of the Living Homeless in which the homeless were shipped to South Park by the City of Denver (I believe). The homeless would then wander the streets like zombies in a combination of Night of the Living Dead and the 1970’s cult classic Dawn of the Dead

Take a one-time accounting charge to pretty up the neighborhoods of unsightly reminders of the Democrats failures. Just like CHA and HUD dumping the poor into Riverdale, Dolton, Harvey, South Holland, etc. in the 1990s. Later research (UIC or U of C) and a Federal lawsuit, confirmed the pockets of poverty were moved from the City to the burbs, with no resources actually given to the residents (or their new communities). The burbs got the crime and social problems; the City and the politically connected got the land/development deals.

If you are going to be homeless, it is better to pick a warm climate. I have heard that people who can get the airfare are also heading to Hawaii to live on the dole and streets.

The US Senate approved $4.5 billion spending bill to provide southern border immigrant temporary housing.
