Interesting Ad
Springfield Armory is going to roll out something new this September. They've got a countdown clock and everything at this link here. We're imagining it's a new self defense pistol based on the advertising - take a look at this screen shot (click for larger version):
That skyline isn't exactly familiar.....except for that tall black building, dead center of the ad. Whatever they're selling, their message seems pretty clear, and we don't blame them for a second using certain imagery to sell their product.

Very soft-shooting (comparatively) with the .45 Super
equivalent +P loads the cognoscenti carry that are quite

Springfield Armory is directly responsible for the State of IL Gun Dealer Licensing act which has already put as many as 50% of Gun Shops out of businessin the State of IL. I'll Vote for Judas Walsh before I buy any of their products.

The Illinois gun licensing scheme is onerous, substantially impacts the right to keep and bear arms,unduly burdens businesses, and is unconstitutional. The courts ought to strict it down in its entirety. Oh, and by the way, like the FOID card hoax, this piece of legislation will not result in a decrease in murder, armed violence, home invasions, armed carjackings, armed robbery, and other crimes of violence. Thug does not care about FOID's, Illinois gun dealer licensing, or down right bans.

Been waiting now for over 6 weeks to get my renewed FOID. Funny, I don't recall any mention in the 2nd Article of our Bill of Rights about needing a democrat/communist-mandated piece of plastic to protect our homes, families, and lives.
