Another Mass Shooting
Chicago almost got through a weekend without a "mass shooting" as defined by the lib-turds:
- A teen was killed, and three people were wounded in a shooting Sunday in Chatham on the South Side, according to police. They were among a group of 30 to 40 people gathered about 3:33 a.m. in the 8200 block of South Maryland Avenue when shots rang out from an unknown direction, Chicago police said.
Witnesses gave varying and inconsistent accounts of the events leading up to the shooting, police said.
Dontevon Gates, 17, was hit in the neck and back and rushed to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. An autopsy has been scheduled to determine his cause of death.
We're going to take a wild guess at the cause of death and say, "bullet(s) to the neck and back" and try to save Prickwrinkle a couple of bucks from having the M.E.'s office do their regular butchery.
We're also going to wonder aloud at the wisdom of being out in a large group at 0330 hours.

Not only will the gun-grabbing libtard's classify this as a 'mass shooting'. But the 17yo will wind up in their list of 'Teens (or 'Youth') lost to Gun Violence'. And as a bonus -- for them, it seems that this shooting is just a few blocks from some schools. As such, the shooting will also go on their list of School Shootings.
That's right, forget the time of the shooting, or that it has nothing to do with any school, it WILL be included as a 'School Shooting'. Mikey Bloomberg's gun-grabbing groups have been busted for doing this crap numerous times, but they don't care. That's how they come up with those unbelievable stats we hear of every time there actually is a 'school shooting'.
They all talk about how street smart they are, and yet they don’t have enough brains to know what happens at 3:30 in the morning. Why aren’t the marchers walking then.

The trauma team over at County Hospital were always an interesting sight to witness especially after those last breaths when they call all the young interns and residents into the room and start exploring while the lead surgeon does the dissertation on why what’s-what.

OT. The Communist teachers union actually had the gall to reject a 24 percent raise (for most of the part time cry babies) by the city today because it's "not enough". They say they will strike because they have gone two months already without a contract. Two months! You can't make this stuff up. Meanwhile the cops in this city still haven't even been able to meet with the new administration for a contract that's over two years expired. You have to love how the cops can't strike by state law because we are considered an essential service but the teachers can because they're special and having kids not in school learning isn't that essential I guess.

Thirty or forty people gathered at 3:30 AM in that neighborhood - I would have been newsworthy if it DIDN’T lead to a shooting. Secondly, they call the dead person a “teen”, but I’d be willing to bet he leaves behind a baby or two. Calling them “teens” is an attempt to make this sound like some sort of tragedy, a “promising young life cut short” - if he wasn’t heading for a life of crime and violence, I’m the Pope.

Yeah, huge surprise there. Probably split evenly between “I di’n see nuttin’” and “they was too far away”. No wonder the homicide clearance rate is so low.
30-40 Community members out at 3:30 AM on gangbanger turf calls for retaliation for real or perceived issues. The Community knows what's gonna happen but they gather anyway. They are enjoying their freedoms to gather and party anytime anywhere. Shooters also have the same opportunity to exercise their option to engage in activities they like. This way everybody is happy. The crowd knows they'll be targeted and the shooters know they'll a great target selection to choose from. This is called Community participation in local events. In murder city you have expectations and reckonings and you get what you expect and deserve. The Community party goers are still stuck on stupid. Its your reckoning.
Recommendation: CAPS officers should attend these pre-mass shooting gatherings early on and pass out Witness/Victim forms/statements and the like in order for all victims to be identified sooner rather than later in these mass shootings. This will also give CAPS officers something to do at least on the midnights. Do they even work midnights?
Alone or in large groups, nothing good ever happens after midnight. Unless of course I think back to a young lady named Darla in Provo, UT back in '91.

Because they can’t. Read up on labor law and contracts. It’s not a one way street. Another reason is what are they going to do. We can’t strike
