Stay Aware
- An off-duty police officer was involved in a shootout in the city's Burnside neighborhood early Saturday morning.
Police said the officer parked his car at about 2:35 a.m. in the 9100 block of S. Ellis Ave, two blocks from the Cottage Grove green line stop.
Three men exited two different vehicles and approached him.
At least one of them pointed a gun at the officer. The officer showed the men his weapon, and one of the men started shooting.
The officer shot back at the men. No one was struck or wounded.
A bystander who did not want to share their name said they heard around 50 shots and immediately dialed 911.
It's almost like there aren't any consequences for shooting at cops....oh wait, there aren't.

in a 35 zone. Also riding the central line between two
cars, weaving in & out without signaling. Seems he left
the dealership without bill of sale, registration, insurance
documents. Bike impounded, rider in jail. Midlife crisis,
gear head.
Carry your gun, bring a spare magazine. The old 5 shooter ain't going to cut it. Most importantly, practice, practice, practice. The dept isn't going to train you in firearms or tactics. They want social justice and shift the liability to the PO training, nothing that will save your life. Be hyper vigilant, and if you are in the ghetto expect these things to happen. The criminals are emboldened, they know that the cook county justice system is now being run by those who's mission it is to keep black and brown people out of jail.
A visit to the CWB blog demonstrates:

How are the schools out there? Recently retired and due to circumstances beyond my control, it looks like I'm gonna be raising a grandchild. Want to get the hell out of here and want to go somewhere where they can actually teach a kid to read and write. If I stay here, I'm paying Catholic school tuition which I didn't account for when I retired. I could live in Montana.

Who woke you up from your Alzheimer-induced stupor? While you are actually correct, there are many,many current white shirt-wearing stuporvisors currently roaming the streets screwing up the Department.

THAT IS GOOD! (as good as it could be in dealing with an attack) Shoot back, don't get yourself killed.
Does anyone want more injured or killed police officers? Of course not. The officer was not hurt/killed so that is an okay end.
The attackers will probably wind up dead or in prison in a matter of time due to their continuing to live out Chicago Values to the fullest. That part was never a variable.

Agreed. Also, no Israeli carry (loaded magazine inserted into the pistol but without a round in the chamber) if you are in the Windy City. Have your gun be ready for action if, God forbid, the time comes to answer violence with violence.

The point of this post is? That there was a speeding bike with no plates in Michigan? You sound like a burb traffic ticket guy.
