Manufactured Evidence?
- The union representing the Chicago Police is demanding that the Department of Justice consider new findings that the Obama Administration relied on manufactured evidence in an investigation of the CPD that led to a consent decree. The consent decree, a court order that forces the overhaul of the department’s policies and practices, went into effect in March of this year.
The FOP Lodge 7 is asking the Trump DOJ to “grant Chicago Police Officers equal treatment under the law,” in an Aug. 21 letter to John Lausch, United States Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois. The letter was signed by FOP President Kevin Graham and Second Vice President Martin Preib.
“The Obama investigation was politically motivated, and evidence coming out now surrounding some past murder cases shows that there has been a pattern of trumping up allegations of misconduct against the police,” Preib told Chicago City Wire.
Preib said that Lausch’s office has yet to respond to the letter.
Of course it was a manufactured set of scenarios. Had the city actually fought numerous lawsuits in years past instead of settling, the truth would have come out in so many more cases, blowing holes in the supposed "Innocence Project." They were busy creating narratives - not actually seeking justice, and whoring out journalism students to gain falsified statement. In many of the cited cases, judges refused to grant "certificates of innocence" because those being suit were obviously guilty - far beyond a reasonable doubt - and even Cook County judges weren't completely stupid.
We don't see where this goes though. It's the Illinois States Attorney running the show, not the US Attorney General.

Kevin Graham had plenty of time to do something to fight the consent decree and he didn’t do anything. Now he puts this out there ? He should’ve done this last year. Too late mope.
The whole thing is a sham. One big continuous false narrative that people or companies probably made money off of. Chicago police officers do a damm good job considering they’re thrown into violent battle field like conditions and have to make perfect split second decisions: I sure would like to see a comparison chart of excessive force complaints over the last ten years. I bet they have plummeted year over year. The sham consent decree has nothing to do with that. Also, enough with the feel good buzz word “reform.” There’s nothing left to reform except the cook county justice system. That’s where the real problem lies. There are no consequences and that sends a dangerous message that cannot be measured.
Election time must be around the corner.

So here's a news flash, a guy in the 009th district has been saying this for 2 years. We have a passive/non aggressive union and if anyone in the union dares to challenge that claim come to 009 I'm sure he'll call out the union and lay out how things should have been handled and it would all begin with getting rid of our sorry political action committee. Wait, do we even have one? If we do you wouldn't know. Things did not have to get this bad however our union allowed it to happen. Coming out once in a while with a dog and pony show press conference is not going to work but being extremely aggressive and constant is the way. Time to turn the union upside down next election and elect very aggressive Reps. There are some (SOME) very good guys in our union but its time to get rid of a lot of dead weight.
Its got to go to the US Attorney. Both the Cook County States Attorney and the Illinois Attorney General have strong ties to those who created this false narrative. There seems also to be a strong connection to the lawyers who make boatloads of money suing the city using false evidence.
Also, we should go after the Northwestern Professors and staff that offered female students as prostitutes in order to gain favor with the inmates.

What's the message for your members. Nobody seems to know. Come out and inform the rank and file or you will be gone. But it might be to late already.
It and always has been, in the best interests of the corrupt democratic machine in Illinois to control the Illinois Attorney General. And, they have been successful. Not once, in the multiple terms of Lisa Madigan, has she indicted, or even investigated a suspected corrupt act by a democratic elected official in Illinois. Even when, local media have written articles on corruption ( the Legislative tuition handouts come to mind) has Madigan lifted a finger. The state tuition giveaways were ripe with fraud, perjury and corruption and Lisa madigan could have at least sued these frauds to recover the funds.

Simply rescinding Executive Order #13684 - President's Task Force on 21st Century Policing (Task Force) would be a good start.
I think bypassing the local biased system(s) can happen if it can get national LEO attention and traction.

Hey, you know what would be great? Suppose the FOP sued to enforce the hiring and promotion provisions of the consent decree... and simultaneously put a court-appointed receiver in charge of the process because Preckwinkle is untrustworthy.

The DOJ conducted year long investigation that had nothing to do with the Obama administration. They held meetings in different pool parts of the city and listened to complaints by citizens who complained of being harassed for making complaints by the responding officera,by nothing being done about assaults, robberies or other complaints or requests for service.
The deep state is now deep at all. Out in the open for all to see. Just look at what ever university in US is preaching. The includes all public and private institutions. That is where the not so deep state got its start and their supply of lockstep liberals.
