So someone is always (and we mean always) posting how Rahm still has a CPD detail at his house despite him (A) not living there his entire mayoral rule and (B) his wife and kids living elsewhere most of his two terms.

Thank you finally for exposing why Rahm who is the EX/ Former mayor is still getting 19th district personnel on all 3 watches. To sit on an empty house half the time, in back, front, around the block, like probably a dozen cops per day wasted on a shit former mayor who should be paying for his own security force. Besides, why is he even important, he is a nobody now ,and if he wants protection, don't make the taxpayers fund it and its cars, gas, insurance, etc. The city law department should come up with the Former ex-mayor every day since Groot took over, and send him a damn bill probably nearly $100,000 in all costs for the last few months in personnel and maintenance of vehicles. Why isn't any Taxpayer Rights organizations coming out with this? The residents of 019 are losing cops on the beats every single day whey they are assigned to sit in front of his house reading magazines and talking to squirrels. FYI: He isn't mayor anymore people!!!!!

CWBChicago should be very interested and they are not afraid to ask questions and dig for the truth. I'm surprised they haven't looked into this already as they do read this blog. Pass this along to them, it would be a good story for them and the MSM does read their blog and steal from them too. As a former CPD Supervisor, I was contacted by a 019th District Supervisor, who told me on numerous occasions, that the Detail assigned to guard Rahm's House is Sacrosanct! There could be a Riot at Cub's Park, or a mass shooting in Boy's Town; NOTHING IN THE 019TH DISTRICT IS AS IMPORTANT AS GUARDING RAHM'S CRIB! Under No Circumstance are the Security Personnel to do anything else, but Guard Rahm's Residence. Except, Rahm does not live there anymore. He has been living in a hide-out in the 012th District near Greek Town when he is here. Otherwise he is in New York and D.C. RAHM IS A MILLIONAIRE WITH A NEW JOB IN NEW YORK; WHY ARE WE WASTING 12 OFFICER PER DAY ON RAHM! NOT TO MENTION OTHERS CHAUFFEURING HIS KIDS! Rahm was a Cheat and Liar. Not only is the 19th district personnel assigned to rahm house, but him and Amy have a driver each. 2 guys receiving sgt’s pay driving them around. And the vehicles there transported around in are city leased vehicles. But, lightloafers is not part of the machine. She even gave 1 of Lil richies drivers a pay raise back to sgts pay, he cant even keep his mouth shut about it. Real big shot. But, dont worry lil lori is on the Up and up.... Thank you for thinking of us. We, too, have received many inquiries about the continued presence of "house cars" at Rahm's Hermitage home. As it turns out, former mayor Daley continued to have full CPD services at this point in Rahm's first term, too. Finding info on administrations before Daley's has been more of a challenge since he was in office for so long. So, there seems to be a precedent for a transition period (whether one likes that or not). There is a window after which we believe it will be fair to ask "why" house car services continue. We're just not there yet.
That detail has nothing on the marine unit , 1 part time Lt who is trying to run 3 units, 5 Sgts ( only had 3 at one time ), one of which has every weekend off in the busy summer months and no one ever sees him except driving private boats . Then there are 32 marine unit officers with 4 who hang out with the sgt no one ever sees and you guessed it , no one ever sees these 4 because they also have every weekend off in a busy unit where everyone else works shorthanded most of the time. Then there are 5 regular po's assigned to work a desk covering 3 watches which used to be covered by 3 po's which used to be covered by marine unit officers. Then there is 1 lone secretary who is also a po that works mon-fri with weekends off but the only problem is that she has weekends off between her weekends off ! Let's see what unit can top this one !
Seriously , the ex mayor Rahm still literally has a command post in a rented building who answers a phone. Please tell me that is a joke ? Does he still have many pod cameras on his block which should now be put in crime infested areas, not wasted on a nice block in Ravenswood?

We have a Sgt that suffers from narcolepsy. He needs to be woken up to approve arrest reports. He then argues with the Officers about probable cause and charging. He is 99 percent of the time wrong. Does not know the law even though he was a Det before making Sgt. He turns molehills into mountains and gives our unit a bad name. Many districts that deal with us have complained but he is part of the protected class. At least when hes sleeping the place runs smooth.
