Nice articles. May I suggest a section devoted to Chicago Political Zombies, like oh say; Forrest Claypool, Eddie V., Et Al....(And I only know Et Al from being on a few ridiculous civil lawsuits) Just to remind us that they never really go away, no matter how shitty a job they did.

The web site would be easier to read if the postings had their own sections, instead of one long scroll to find older content.

This guy tells it like it is and is an amazing writer.
I've been working with this writer helping him on police procedure since his first article 3 years ago. I've read everything hes written and my favorites are the ones on that asshole John Arena and Roberto Maldonado. I can't really say much about what I know from working with him here but if he is getting the other writers he says are interested in working with this blog it could be a winner. I know they want to focus on policing and exposing journalists but they are going to be hitting Lightfoot and other issues
If anyone really wants to see this guy kick the shit out of Arena look at the essay calling Arena the Worst alderman and the articles about the crap Arena tried to pull in 45. SOme if it is hilarious.
I have 2 years left on the job and may stick around because of this writer. Hope this site takes off.

Good stuff. However IMO it would be more readable if he'd use shorter sentences instead of stretching a single sentence over an entire paragraph. Breaking it up a little would make it more punchy.
Another sane voice exposing the fuckery that goes on in Chicago as SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) is always a good thing.
My only comment on his articles is that the paragraphs are a bit on the long side. They may be grammatically correct as to paragraph subject matter - and where one begins & ends -- but they're a tad tough on the average reader over the Internet.
So I'd suggest he follow John Kass's method of writing articles: Assume your reader has the attention span of a gnat so keep paragraphs as short as possible.
Even if it's only one sentence. ;-)

Look forward to how they address issues as they come along. The first posted articles are very telling and if I was Chicago citizen , or a Chicago police officer, I would find infuriating.Surely read some of those articles in the past , but to go back and see the "rot" again going back to 2016. the whole listing is good, the articles are great. Hopefully , Mr. Sokne will continue.

I tried to find background on Florian but the production and
content looks like it came from a Harvard graduate. I also
tried to find how to subscribe, but only found and endless
stream of articles. I wonder how this man makes a living.
He could easily be employed by The Wall Street Journal or
Bloomberg.

content that is meaty, truth-based, factual, satisfying
and leaves the reader wanting more.
We hearkened back to those long ago Sunday brunches

Also millions of dollars in body cameras , release footage to public . Show the world how police officers are disrespected by citizens of Chicago, call they get assigned to , conditions children live in. DCFS doesn’t care , they live worse than illegals.
Show the open air drug sales in the black neighborhoods, operate 24/7 , loosies , shots of booze , cans of beer for sale .
