The official weekend stats are in and we actually surprised our self:
- from 1700 hours Friday until the end of the day Monday - seventy-nine hours - we predicted eight dead and thirty-seven wounded.
- per the HeyJackass.com website, we counted eight dead (seven shot, one stabbed) and thirty-five wounded.
And the tiebreaker, though we aren't sure if anyone ended up tied with our prediction, was two mass shootings - and there were exactly two mass shootings, using the lib-turded standard of four individuals shot in a single incident, one at 71st and Pauline, one at 62nd and King.
If they open a sports book on this, we are going to clean up enough to finally retire.

Actually SCC, the total is 11 (10 by your timeframe). You have to give some of the more severely wounded a chance to die. Heyjackass updated their totals.
Next time the numbers will have to be based on DOA totals.

OT......10:15 PM CBS news reports a stolen car from Illinois ends up in a chase on the Ind Tollroad.... Subjects then tried to steal an Indiana highway truck and were shot at by the State Police and Sheriff.....Tara Molina of CBS reports the police will not name the subjects and she does not know the names of the officers who 'pulled their triggers" or if anyone was hit.
ALSO, just in Jussie Smollet is demanding all charges be dropped against him since he had no idea the police would spend so much money working the case....

The +1 was due to a late reported, late expiring stabbing victim. It's unknown if the bladed instrument in question was from Indiana or Mississippi.
We also added two shootings that were accounted for in the totals but missing from the final list.
