There's a Slam Dunk

  • State Rep. Luis Arroyo, a Chicago Democrat, has been charged with allegedly offering $2,500 a month in bribes to support electronic sweepstakes-related legislation to a state senator who wore a wire for the feds and secretly recorded conversations, according to a criminal complaint released Monday.

“I’m going to give this you here,” Arroyo allegedly said during a meeting in August with the state senator, identified by a source as Vernon Hills Democrat Terry Link, at a restaurant in Skokie as Arroyo allegedly passed him the first bribe.

“This is, this is, this is the jackpot,” Arroyo said, according to the criminal complaint.
It certainly is, and the fish seem to be getting larger.

Between the teachers strike and the President in town, this one, I feel, isn’t getting the attention that it should. Can’t wait to see who is next .

Nice to know “The Chicago Way” of politics is still being practiced. Unfuckingbelievable that in this day and age, and with Chicago demorats caught on the wire, that this schmuck is offering bribes.

These crooks sell us out for beans. Kim Foxx sold Chicago out to Soros for $400k above the table.

Blago shopping around Sparklefart's US Senate seat for a lousy million clams. Senators enjoy a gold-plated pension plan, called FERS, pays $139k @62 after 5 years. Senators are immune to insider trading Laws. Premium health benifits. Free junkets- 44 of them went to Israel last Summer. Opens many doors for a person to be a Senator. I'd take out a mortgage or 3 for a $mill to get my kid that spot.

Feds don't even need 'wires' anymore. NSA has every phone call transcript, every email, every text. Heck, they can even record you when your phone is off. GPS and AI are a helluva combo. OnStar tracks them. Smart TV or Alexa will tattle, as well. Backdoor on every Personal Computer. SWIFT banking also holds all the secrets. They could clean house, if they so desired. Selective enforcement at work.

These crooked politicians will get the usual slap on the wrist: 18 mos. Except Blago- he sure got screwed.

You insult me. You can't buy be. I give you recording deal
with Feds. They make you a big star. They make you next

Gambling was run on the up and up when the syndicate was in charge, almost. The politicians got their cut but they decided their cut wasn't large enough so this is what you get. The hoopla heads got better break placing there bets with their local bookie but gambling is a real gamble with politicians that can be bought and most if not all are for sale.

Judge (district magistrate). No legal background.

neighbor a break. Postpones DUI trial until 2 days
after his election run for city council. He wins election.
Charges dropped. Thank you very much. Citizens
complain. They both laugh it off. I just wonder if he's
a "roller." Will the cop time roll into the magistrate time
or does the magistrate time roll into cop time? Same
municipality. Ain't it fucking wonderful to get credit for

Now we got politicians paying bribes to other politicians.

Times have changed.

My favorite thing to consider is that Sandoval's last fundraiser they had a shoot the president booth.

Six weeks later you are indicted.

Don't piss off Trump.

By the way there are 59 Illinois Senators, 2 are criminally charged, 1 is a cooperating witness.

2 Alderman sitting in the frying pan.

5 Suburban Mayors under investigation.

1 Cook County Commissioner-,to ne fair he is one of the Mayors.

Yesterday they charged a State Representative.

This is getting good.

Little Luis and Madigan gotta be nervous.

Priceless

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree as his kid Cook County Commissioner Luis A. Arroyo, Jr was involved in fixing a disabled parking ticket in the Forest Preserves for the 36th ward superintendent. The supt. was attending the 36th Ward Alermanic picnic ran by Mayor Stinkyfoot's floor leader Gilberto Villegas. Little Arroyo claimed to have graduated from Steinmetz but he was too busy running with the gangs and selling drugs to graduate from there and he dropped out. Both Arroyos got their GED's from Pedro Albizu Campos High School
on the 2700 block of W Division St. (You would think both Arroyos would need a little more education than that, no?)

Will both Arroyos, Crespo, and Villegas get caught up in the feds sting?

Its funny to watch how quiet Eddie Burke is,like a mouse, and living in the 14th ward on beat 811 and watching all the new streets, lights, tree trimming, curbs being put in rapidly, but all being done in the border wards of 23 and 13,looks like Eddie cannot get anything done as usual. Just hoping Eddie is finally opening up the skeleton closet and saving himself, they sold him up the river and that boat needs more passengers just do it Eddie your reign is over1

Hmm 2 bumbling fools both named Eddie Johnson and Burke 2 of a kind!

You're right. They never worked in the REAL world,
never saw inventory taken, never paid invoices, signed
payroll checks. Have NO idea of the value of money,
that's why they sell out so cheap. And guys like Soros
know this and pickup bargains on the cheap and laugh
all the way to the bank.
(p.s. They always sell out in relation to their government
salary, which is low, low, low. They couldn't put a value
on intangible information if their lives depended on it.)

i was thinking the same thing. for a rich guy like soros who spends billions to buy a company or 100 million to expand a factory or 30 million for a new computer system for a business or 20 million for a house or 300,000. for a bugatti these illiterate ged politicians are a rare and wonderful bargain. for a 400 k legal donation soros completely destroyed the rule of law, the justice system and the police dept in a major city. pocket money. like the great white father trekking through the amazon in the 1800s paying 100 bearers pennys to carry tons of steamer trunks thru the jungle so the explorers would have all the comforts of home while half the laborers died. had to be great. all this corruption is in your face for four years, then a couple of weeks of slick commercials touting the wonders of every democrat, "its for the children " and the sheep pour out the vote for the theives. " fooled the fools again, lets get back to theivin! " this city and its citizens are pathetic. world class city my azz. uppity back water full of suckers.

Why isn't anyone investigating Senor Arroyo Sr. for getting homeowners exemptions on both his home in Chicago (possibly another in IL) and one in Florida? Homeowners exemptions are for your one primary and permanent residence not for two of them.
What does "homeowner exemption" mean?

A homeowners exemption is a dollar amount that you can deduct from your home’s assessed value. It’s not typically shaved dollar for dollar off your tax bill, but it will reduce your tax bill nonetheless because you’ll be paying a percentage of a lesser amount.

The homestead exemption in Florida can save you hundreds of dollars in property taxes for permanent Florida residents. If you qualify, you can reduce the assessed value of your homestead up to $50,000. There is a standard $25,000 exemption plus an additional exemption up to $25,000.

The Illinois Homestead Exemption Amount Under the Illinois exemption system, a homeowner can exempt up to $15,000 of equity in a home or other property covered by the homestead exemption. The Illinois homestead exemption requires that you be a legal owner of record to claim the exemption. Your name must be listed on the deed to the property.

You are correct. Some guys think it’s a $15,000 savings It’s actually a small saving at the most $300. My final reassessment went up $150,000 which resulting in an $3,000 tax increase. $15,000 exemption would have saved me $300
