Remember this bullshit last year as Commander "Bangles" Hanna and Lieutenant Ward trick-bagged their officers into numerous Rule 14 violations?
- In 2019, Chicago police pulled guns off the street at a rate of more than one an hour, and announced that the first arrest of the year took place just minutes into New Year’s Day.
But a departmental investigation found it wasn’t the first of the 4,095 gun arrests by CPD officers last year. The charges were dropped. And the only punishment handed out went to the CPD officers who filed the arrest report.
Two officers and a sergeant got three days apiece for her glory-hounding, and Google-me actually said this:
- [Google-me] said the department announced Rhyme as the first arrest based on the time listed on the police report. Reports go through layers of approval, but it was not clear what made Internal Affairs check the report against the video.
“I don’t know how Internal Affairs became aware of [the time discrepancy] but it’s another example of CPD’s commitment to policing ourselves,” [Google-me] said in an email.
It seems everyone was aware of the discrepancy in short order, as other officers were unwilling to go along with the Rule 14 violations and risk their careers.

If the two officer and the sergeant did not file a complaint to EEOC, OIG or start their own lawsuit then they are TOOLS and deserve to be suspended!!

The brass always skate, while the sacrificial cops get thrown under the bus to satisfy the public. Same thing happened with McDonald. And it will happen again months or years from now. The circumstances change, the names change, but the end result always remains the same.

We are human beings not reboots
when ever I arrest someone or detained someone, If I don’t know the exact time I arrested that subject or detained him I make a educated guess no I’m not making a false report, I’m not falsifying anything. We are not perfect. Now I guess I’m going to have to remember every time I place someone into custody or detained a subject to let dispatch know right away so that the times will match with the bwc.

I have an idea. Whats the easiest way to get merit promoted or get test questions before the test? Join IAD right? Because if you join IAD you can do a lot of favors, lose a lot of folders, fuck a lot of guys the Boss's want you to fuck, and its like the kid who puts a nickle in the piggy bank every day. Eventually its payback time.

A noble idea, but won’t work. Seen it before in district watch suspension funds. Some dog asses kept drawing from it repeatedly. Then do you make whole every officer for every suspension? whether deserved or not? If not who decides? A committee? Guy doesn’t show up for court, gets suspended, gets made whole?
