Officer Safety Alert
- "Go shoot the nearest police officer in the face" these are the words of a prominent activist and Bernie Sanders volunteer Yusuf Naqvi, a Chicago-based contract lawyer.
“They are the bottom enforcers of a system that profited from such poverty and decay that we are now jobless and homebound with no income nor healthcare to help us through this crisis Go shoot the nearest police officer in the face,” he wrote on Twitter.
There are pictures (and captured tweets) of him at the link so you can know what he looks like. He's a lawyer, too, so be doubly aware and check your wallet if you're unfortunate enough to have contact with him.
Perhaps an ARDC complaint also? We recall they have disbarred other attorneys for things not nearly as bad as this. And if anyone has his employers contact information, we'll be sure to publish it.

As per the ARDC, this guy was admitted to the bar in Illinois on 11/01/2012. As of this date he is listed as “voluntarily inactive” and not licensed to practice law in Illinois.

Not sure if social media posts count as "encouraging or requesting another to commit an offense," but it certainly seems like it. What happened with the moron calling for violence against JVD's family? This is similar to that situation. I don't know if the law requires a call for violence against a specific person, or if the solicitation needs to be directed at a specific person as the one committing the violent act. Either way, this guy should be arrested and charged with something.

I am not a Bernie supporter! But I do believe in honest reporting. First this guy is a nutjob. He may be a Bernie supporter, but I'm the same way white supremacist a Trump backers. Part 2: ARDC can't touch him unless he's found practicing in Illinois. Some websites still list him as licensed, and I emailed the Illinois State Bar Association and the Millennial asking them to correct their posts/story. He apparently moved out to NY and NJ, but he's not licensed as a lawyer in either state. If anyone finds proof he's working as a lawyer (including giving legal advice, signing documents as an attorney, appearing in courts or admin hearings as attorney), post it, and contact the ARDC (complaints can be filed by mail or fax). Think I'll hunt down Bernie's contact information for his campaign and Senate office next; they might be interested in acting like they care.

Well as of 3/20/2020 1:21 p.m. he’s back “Active and authorized to practice law - Last Registered Year: 2020.” Make your ARDC complaints. As a lawyer, I can tell you he will be required to explain his conduct in writing, and that could trigger a formal ARDC complaint, which is the first step toward license discipline. It’s a big deal that no lawyer likes.
