Those of us that reside in the 3rd Congressional District ought to be talking to our family and friend about crossing over (if that's required) and supporting the candidacy of Republican candidate Mike Fricilone. There were approximately 65,000 votes cast in the congressional race in the 03rd congressional district. Democrat voters cast 55,000 votes compared to the barely 10,000 cast for republican candidates. Its an issue important enough for those of us who go out every day and put it all on the line to preserve life. These lefties dismiss us as inconsequential in spite of all their pandering and posturing. If we believe in protecting life, and our families and the communities where we live, its important we do everything we can to say no to this Soros funded democratic congressional candidate. Illinois has been on a downward trajectory for some time. Back in the 1990's the state-wide political positions where predominately all Republicans, DuPage / Lake local politicians where all predominately Republicans and even the Southwest Suburbs (Lipinski area) where 50/50 Republican/Democrat. Many of the Democrats where financially responsible back then.
Today, Republicans are almost non-existent - even the Congressional seats that cover DuPage / Lake are now Democrats (many of them far left). Even the Southwest suburbs are at best 15% Republican. State has made a huge jump to far-far-far left politics. Old Democrat party is gone - now it's Socialist Democrats. Many of the new politicians are Communist in their ideology and only know how to tax and spend. Government is their god.

More than 1,200 detainees at the county lockup in Chicago did something new in Illinois. They cast their ballots in a polling place set up right inside the jail. A state law enacted last summer signed by Gov. J.B. Pritzker requires that Illinois’ 20,000 pretrial detainees be given the opportunity to vote. That means absentee ballots must be distributed in every jail in the state. But the law also requires that any county with more than 3 million residents set up voting machines in the jail. Cook was the only county to qualify.
This is all more than fine with Sheriff Tom Dart, whose office runs the jail that holds about 5,500 inmates, 95% of whom are awaiting trial. Dart has gained a reputation for innovation after introducing an inmate-operated pizza kitchen, an inmate-run garden that sells produce to local businesses, and a program in which inmates help demolish vacant homes. For him, voting is part of a larger effort to create productive citizens.
“I believe now [voting] is extremely important because change is needed in so many different areas,” John Brunious, 55, who has been in and out of Cook County Jail since he was 18, said. Brunious is hoping, and voting, for larger structural reform in Cook County.
Good luck Illinois - with the current shut-down of our economy it will HURT state and local finances. Illinois and local government units' credit ratings will plummet because (1) revenues for sales / income taxes will decline this year, (2) pension investment fund returns will go negative, (3) spending will continue to accelerate.

If the election wasn't rigged, which a lot of times I think it was, then I put the blame on the residents of the cook county suburbs that either didn't vote or voted for the wrong candidate. I heard a lot of big talk last year after the french actor's hoax that the suburbs were going to be the ones to vote her out of office. We did what we could in Chicago. Joe had few that actually lived in the 19th campaigning for him. Just Carpenters Union buddies from place like Skokie. Then you had the Witch from Hutchinson St. telling people on her FB page that Joe was the only one to have a shot. Gimme a break... LaPointe could only muster 41%. There's a chance to take her out in November, with Jeff Muehlfelder the GOP opponent.

Lipinski has always been a hold-your-nose and vote candidate. People liked his old-man, so they supported him. He also stood tall on abortion, which isn’t easy in the slaughterhouse party. In the November General Election, most offices, excluding Water Reclamation District (pick 3 candidates of any political party), one chooses 1 candidate of any political party.

If the election wasn't rigged, which a lot of times I think it was, then I put the blame on the residents of the cook county suburbs that either didn't vote or voted for the wrong candidate. I heard a lot of big talk last year after the french actor's hoax that the suburbs were going to be the ones to vote her out of office. We did what we could in Chicago. It was up to the suburbs to put the final nail in the coffin and they failed miserably. Foxx is a cook county problem, not just a Chicago problem.

To the retiree who is questioning about renewing so he can carry. A friend of mine forwarded the following regarding the IROCC renewal.
Makes a lot of sense about the feds having to approve any extension seeing that HR 218 is federal law and that the states are just administrating the law. Hope it helps
I just received a telephone call from the IROCC office. and I were scheduled to re qualify this coming Saturday, the 23rd, since our cards expire a the end of the month. We were told that for the time being, re qualification has been suspended thru at least April. She also said that May is not a sure thing. I asked the obvious question, if our current cards were going to be given an extension until this mess is over. She said not that she's aware of. An extension has to come from the Federal Government. This affects lots of us who work part time gigs that require us to be armed. I asked my employer and he stated that he doubts very much that his insurance company would cover them and his retired other P.O.s. This all means that aside from employment, we can't legally carry guns once our IROCC cards expire. If anyone has an in with the FOP, perhaps they can ask lobbyists to intervene in Washington DC. I am sending an e mail to FOP in the event that they are unaware.

Foxx received 402,829 votes or 50.3% of the vote total.
Conway received 249,967 votes or 31.2% of the vote total.
More received 107,453 votes or 13.4% of the vote total.
Fioretti received 39,944 votes or 5% of the vote total.
Add Conway, More and Fioretti together and you have 397,364 votes.
Because the democrat machine delivered, Foxx beat the three of them added together by 5,465 votes or .6% of the total which was 800,193 votes cast.
Even though More and Fioretti are still traitors, the machine did not need them to beat Conway.

I also know how to take care of my business without the help of the police which I know is rare in this age of government everything. The odds are with this grasshopper. A friend of mine went to vote and was told she had already voted. The signature didn't match hers. And what is this BS that they can register and then vote?
