Update on That Car
An update to the car parked at the out-of-state casino a couple of times a week:
- The degenerate scamming 2nd District XO was walking around the station bragging that he, “ain’t going anywhere! Waller said I’m good!” Shameful what this job has become. With all the impressionable new PO’s coming through the district, what does taking care of a jerk like Moore say? Clout hacks can do whatever they fucking want. But god help you if you forget to swipe.
And to everyone who was whining about the picture:
- Did you really think we posted that photo without knowing EXACTLY who that car was assigned to?
There was no plausible reason for a city vehicle assigned to a multiple "merit" putz to be parked on the sixth floor of an out-of-state casino. And as you can see from our commentator, this moron is telling everyone that Waller is protecting him, bragging about it, despite his making every single Chicago Police Officers job that much harder in this supposed era of "accountability."
Accountability for some. Obviously, not for others.

One of my former partners retired to St. John and took a job with the IGC (Indiana Gaming Commission). Turns out he has been tasked with the retrieval of casino surveillance at the request of our IG and IAD after Mayor Larry had a coronary when this hit the blog. He claims footage from several days of video has been located and archived that puts Moore at the slots as well as at table games on several occasions. But wait, it gets better...
Jackass can be seen on more than one occasion producing his button at the buffet register to claim the ‘professional courtesy’. And footage of drinks brought to him while gaming is being evaluated to see if they were alcoholic beverages.
Mx. Mayor is absolutely incensed; look for Moore to be shitcanned over this once all the pieces are put together, Waller-sponsored or not.

Well I must say, that cannot be a direct quote from the merit Lt. M in question, because the fact that he talks like he has marbles in mouth makes him highly unintelligible. He often has to repeat himself multiple times to be understood. So at any given time it’s difficult to directly quote him.

When you submitted that To-From, did you make the mistake of writing it was a "One-time" at the casino? If you did, you just jammed yourself with a falsified report. The department vehicle was parked in an out of state casino numerous times.
How would I know? I'm the photographer. Not only did I take that picture, but I took photos on numerous days. Including the city sticker.
If I get wind you contacted Horseshoe security to review camera footage trying to identify me, you'll find yourself, the department, and the city talking to my lawyer. Your clout will dump you like a hot potato.
How do you solve the problem? Keep that department car out of Indiana. Fortunately for you, the casinos are helping you out by shutting down because of the Corona virus.
He also likes to visit the liquor store at 55 and Wentworth on duty in between standing behind the desk harassing underlings.
I worked in a unit with this guy years ago who liked to turn 19p into 10-1. Sergeant had enough told him he was going to dump him. The PO started screaming his clouts name and saying I'll have you dumped. He then called his clout... a deputy and was screaming at him on the phone telling him he would not put up with this shit and was going to beat the Sergeants ass. The officer kept telling the Sergeant to pick up the phone and talk to the deputy he refused and was dumped by the end of the period. Myself and 3 others soon left voluntarily. The officer retired as a lieutenant and the Sergeant as a Sergeant. Business as usual at CPD.
He had to spend all that retro money, it was burning a hole in his debit card. At least it wasn't 24 years worth of his dead momma's social security money.
The new commander tried to push the XO out but Waller blocked it. Waller is a good guy himself but his loyalty to idiots he Merited is stupid. Any way the new commander is now scared of his own shadow because of compstat and lashing out at everyone. Hoping Covid hits the deuce hard because self isolation is better than the bosses shitty attitude

Captain Moore is not a bad guy. I've dealt with him for years. He was my Sgt more than once. I've never seen him screw anyone over. He is hooked up to no end with NOBLE. Thats his juice. He wasn't born with a much of a backbone and will do what he is told. That is how he's worked his way up the ranks by merit. He has had a brick on him for more than a few years now. He would have been a Commander except he didn't handle a police involved shooting in 004 that good. The shooting was the one where the two coppers almost shot each other while shooting at a moving vehicle. I'm surprised he would be that stupid and gamble while on duty. It is well known he likes to gamble. He is a cheapskate so showing his badge to get free food would be expected. I could say so much more but I'll leave it at that.
As far as 002 goes. Waller hates JW, the Commander of 002. The XO is safe in any effort to get him dumped (he might get fired but that has nothing to do with JW). JW was a merit Sgt. He made Lt by test score. He would have never made merit Lt when EJ was Superintendent. JW is not well liked by anyone other than DB. JW has political juice. He is hooked up outside the department. JW has been hated anywhere and everywhere he has gone since he became a Sgt. 002 had a good size exodus under CKS. That will be nothing compared to what is about to happen under the reign of JW. Congrats Mayor Lightfoot!!! You have yet another boss on CPD that no one can stand!!!

Who’s to say that vehicle wasn’t being used out of state during working hours, double dip cheating the City of services?
Minimum penalty should be reimbursement of gas and maintenance for everyday he was anointed to that take-home car.
Maximum should be a 2 Grade demotion or re-test to an appropriate skill level position.
We can only hope that the eagle eyed photographers dedication to accountability will not go unpunished. It’s only a photograph. Some of the best video surveillance in the world is found at the major casinos, and the IAD knows it.
Guess the Dept is just glad it wasn’t reported stol’den, abandoned and vandalized along a desolate back road... like they do to CookCo suv’s.

The Mayor obviously is afraid to cross this guys clout. Anyone who can take a department vehicle to an out of state casino on multiple occasions must have big clout. Big enough that the Mayor is afraid to take action against that vehicles operator. Must be nice to have carte blanche on this job with no fear of repercussions.

Well... if it’s really the XO of 002 I apologize for my posts and I eat crow like a man.. now the question is, who will be the one who pulls the CR number and leaks it’s existence to the media so it can’t just be quietly shelved away.. no, I’m not that guy.. I’ll admit I don’t have it in me but I know someone in the KMA has it in them.. I’ve got too long left on this job to get Fd with.

They reassigned him elsewhere as a commander where he’ll be forgotten about. He went to one of the numerous units that have commanders for a handful of personnel
Someone told me once if you’re “Throwing Down” on Hockey & Baseball ⚾️ it’s the end of the Line. Does gambling in another State during office hours count as well?

Just like sgt hw in special events always saying he’s tight with the chief. Someone should watch the sgt. He works 2 hours on the weekend and then leaves to do personal things For the rest of the tour. Sure hope the chief isn’t covering for these guys
