- Authorities say a Philadelphia police corporal was shot and killed as he served a homicide warrant at a home in Frankford.
Shortly before 6 a.m. Friday, officers were attempting to serve a warrant on the 1600 block of Bridge Street when they were met with gunfire. Officials say the corporal was shot in the shoulder above his bulletproof vest when officers entered the home. Two people in the home were shot and wounded by police, but they are expected to survive.
Corporal James O'Connor, 46, was a member of the SWAT team of the Philadelphia Police Department. He was a 23-year veteran of the police department and had spent 15 years in SWAT.
And when a particular politician showed up at the hospital, he was met by a solid wall of Officers who refused him entry to see their dying comrade:
- Officers were seen blocking Philly’s top prosecutor Larry Krasner from entering the hospital before leaving, Fox29 reported. Krasner, who has sued the police department more than 75 times, according to the Wall Street Journal, has a tense relationship with officers, who accuse him of coddling criminals, being soft on crime and demoralizing the police department.
"The reason I am here is that we've had a very serious incident involving a police officer. I'm not going to get in front of the police commissioner and talk about details." Krasner told the station. "I'm here for the victim, for the victim's family, for any survivors, and also just to show how much we care about our law enforcement officers."
Last year, after six cops were shot, Philadelphia’s top federal prosecutor William McSwain issued a statement charging Krasner with promoting and championing a “new culture of disrespect for law enforcement" in Philly. "I am fed up with it,” McSwain said.
Krasner is another social justice warrior piece of shit funded by the Soros cabal that gave $2 million to our disaster of a States Attorney here in Chicago and the "prosecutors" in a bunch of other states. If you can find the video, it is truly a sight to behold as he runs away from about fifty or sixty cops who weren't about to let him make a photo-op out of a dead cop.

Corporal for anyone who does not know is a field training officer. In my district when outside units like gang team, gun team, narcottics does a search warrant the supervisors force fto’s that have ppo’s to go with as the marked unit required. The few times i have been forced to assist in this fashion the ppo’s on there cycles can be visually seen shaking nervously. There nervous enough about writing movers or arresting people that i know doing this is a disaster waiting to happen. I dont know if this was the case here but i can imagine him having to worry about the kid with him on his second day on the street could be a factor.

Unless I knew 100% of my coworkers weren't showing up, I couldn't sit at home knowing what they were going to have to deal with even MORE undermanned than we already are everyday. It's easy to ponder everyone not showing up, but unless NOBODY shows up, you're just setting up those that do for tragedy. I don't know if I'm fucked up in the head (actually, I DO know I'm fucked in the head!) But leaving my fellow officers high & dry at the worst possible time of need is not how my folks raised me.
Thank GOD this will never happen to our SWAT team. TL has already put in place that all SWAT incidents (Barricades, Hostage, Narcotics warrants, & Terrorism) will all be Surround Wait And Talk. The new SWAT acronym :)

....totally agree with you but that’s why no one needs to show up! And the few that do, well, they should never leave the station or develop a case of diarrhea and go home. How do you expect us to get anything if we waiver on this? The politicians depend on our good work ethic and in the end screw you over because of it. Trust me! Did CPS get a raise and almost everything else they asked for because they played along and showed up to teach, just as they were hired to do? He sounded intelligent and very respectful to me in front of the city council and mayor. They refused to answer his questions or let him speak again. So of course he gets in trouble, he isn't one that simply goes along, he asks why, he speaks up, and clouted CPD bosses don't like types like that. The CR's I'd need more infor, perhaps to protect himself from an idiot and a cluster*uck situation. Or perhaps to document the action or inaction, the lack of an answer from a boss.
But hey coppers could just keep on with the do nothing devil you know. But then they know for certain it's simply more of the no backbone weak as baby crap FOP leadership and expect and get nothing. Clearly you are a tool for the other camp. Perhaps you have something personal to gain. Still you can vote with your feet, it's your choice.
