I can’t believe that this department is making our recruits cleaning police vehicles. We’re battling the pandemic by putting them at risk or the virus and bed bugs. Officers should take their vehicles to authorized cash wash facilities to be cleaned and decontaminated. Officers should be wiping their vehicles down on each watch.

So the officer who tested positive worked at homan, he was in many different offices coughing last week. So he coughs, inevitably getting the virus on his hands, then he takes out his dept ID and swipes, thereby contaminating the swipe machine. The next person swipes, and gets the virus on their ID. As they put away their ID, they now are infected. How is holding your fucking hand inside the machine going to stop you from getting infected?
