According to our Google Map, this is smack dab in the middle of Edison Park, among the top three quietest neighborhoods and top ten in property values (and property taxes.) Also the home to huge numbers of city workers. And they're burying people (of folks) killed in 011 way up there?

There is no obit on the funeral home website. Why would a west side gangbangers wake be at this location? Been to numerous PO’s and their family’s wakes at this location over the years. Disappointing and disturbing.
What fine Edison Park restaurants just up the block will the funeral luncheon (repast) be at? Do they have those no guns signs on their doors? I certainly hope so.

Great idea; gangster funeral with attendant drive-by's, etc can add vibrancy and excitement to an otherwise dull day. Now all the great diversity will come to the local cemetery, the Community will have a reason to visit and expand horizons to these previously deprived homeowners. And since every time a friend, 'cousin' or fellow gang member rolls by to pay respects, an sheeit, there will be more opportunities to diversity a few bullet holes in the local neighborhood. Hell, it may become the In Thing for gang members to start using this memorial park. No doubt, some of them will claim it. Like an inkblot, or expanding sh*t stain, this should end up messy.

I suggest you post a roadblock one block further down NW highway and don't let any funeral goers go exploring... could end badly for all involved.

The Park Church group did this in Edgebrook a few years ago. Neighborhood cucks made the case that we owe "them" the safety of our neighborhood because the poor waifs are entitled to a funeral. They spent the majority of their time smoking pot, "outside the building, geez" and clinking 40s. There was police presence everywhere, on the clock, to discourage any plans to machine gun the mourners, as is the custom. The actual most disturbing thing observed was, that at least one attendee had AN FOP BUTTON on the bumper of their Lincoln Towncar. As we all know, if it ain't a Wood, it ain't no good!
Just hours after Bauer was killed, a pastor from Park Church (which seems to be some kind of franchise opportunity) elbowed his way into the collection of preachers standing on the steps of 18, trying to garner their share of preacher street cred, because they want that crime glory that all the other scumbag preachers seem to get after heinous acts of Democratic violence.
Yes, the building got pissed on, quite a bit I might add, thanks for asking. The next time we have an "event" and the preachers start to mill around outside a District somewhere, keep your eye out for these people. They are there to harvest attention only.

That place is Olsen Funeral Home. They are owned/hooked up with Illinois Cremation Society. They have memorials when people are cremated, Cheap funerals. People go there for the memorial when arranging a cremation somewhere else. Homewood, suburbs, etc,

Doubt it. Read the obit. No procession. That funeral home is part of the cremation society.

There's been section 8 in EP for years. Scattered about along main streets, NW hwy, Harlem. Usually keep to themselves. I'm not worried about dude inc. Be more concerned about the white trash scattered about the neighborhood. To the "untrained" eye, they fit right in. Young, old, white, don't stand out. Do a search in our databases by beat, streets, address, etc. and suddenly they start popping out at you. Some real scumbags. Big gypsy problem too. I'm really not worried about the occasional "visitor" passing through, bumping the bass. They stand out and they KNOW they stand out. I'm more concerned about the piece of shit living in the neighborhood who watches your daily routine and breaks in or steals from your garage, car, etc. when he knows nobody's home. Cremations, one time thing? Oh yeah, no one will ever be cremated again.
They don't do cremations there. Usually outside of Chicago, that place, Olsen, is owned by/shared by many cremation offices. I used them twice. Go find a funeral for just under $3,000 including cremation, urn and a 4 hour memorial.
There go the numbers in 016! Couple shot on way to or from funeral. Maybe we'll get more police then.

Retired Skokie Police Officer Doug Miller passed away 27 Feb. Wake/funeral tomorrow, Monday, check obit for details. Doug was a good guy; he had a weekly breakfast with a crew of retired Chicago and Skokie retirees.

Cremations are cheap at $1500.....and they pickup the body..... When you add a wake, funeral home etc then they want to sell a coffin etc. $13,000...

We don't pay such high taxes and worry about the future and safety of our neighborhood only to be surrounded by liberal progressives who would destroy what we worked for, for generations. Go back to lincoln park where you can pay a million for your property while homeless piss bums pass out in your gangway. Why is it that conservatives are happy to isolate and attempt to surround themselves with other like-minded conservatives yet liberals always find the need to branch out and try to infect non like minded areas with their liberal ideologies? Californians invading Texas?? I don't have much against liberals in practice, but just stay where you're at and be happy. Don't try to destroy areas that don't think like you. Ride Pace 290 from Touhy & Overhill to Howard Station, which is Rogers Park. Walk around Juneway and other streets.

My son attended Taft for one semester, then OUT. He had a difficult time using the washroom. The shitheads helped themselves to kid's lunch money and shot dice in the washroom. After that is was St Pats. Fuck the animals.
