This isn’t what these kids signed up for. I don’t remember part of the job description being disinfecting squad cars with little to no proper PPE or cleaning supplies. This department doesn’t give a fucking damn about anyone that works a beat, and that includes the street supervisors. Of course the FOP won’t do shit, as always, and even less because Fat Ass Graham and Medical Roll Catanzara are too busy smearing one another. What a fucking joke.

Baltimore another democratically-run disaster, can't believe that they went so far as to hire a "professional" cleaning crew albeit on 05Apr. To be fair to 014, that picture was taken on 19Mar with no guidance or help from the groot. The thought process being something has to be better than nothing and FYI no recruits were harmed in the making of that tweet. But to date there still haven't been any professional cleaning crews sent to sanitize squad cars in any district that I'm aware of. I'm sure somehow Larry & Jelly-Belly will find a way to make it all Trump's fault. Both of them and all the demoRATS playing politics during this are a disgusting disgrace to the human race !!

Don’t know what it is like now but I remember you had to argue with the car wash vendors because they would just run the squad thru the automated wash and never clean the interior: windows, dash, steering wheel, seats door panels. Too many POs would let the attendants slide. There was an order on what was supposed to be cleaned but half the time it wasn't being done. The day crew would say, oh I got the car cleaned but when you had it at night you couldn't see out of the windows with all the film on them.
AND WHERES THE FRICKIN UNION . AGAIN NOTHING OF COURSE , DOING SHIT FOR US , Then they will come out with there little Speeches and act like there Complaining for Us .While of Course there in Bed with The City , kissing there Asses, and Never doing anything for all the Officers , that always have to pay There Damn Dues. This department and the city are a joke. Mayor saying they knew about the virus back in January. The bullshit hand sanitizer and the made up ppe kit that was made by the department with a list of items one being a n95 mask that supposed to be in the kit isnt there but its listed in the piece of paper. and lets not talk about the n95 masks that is supposed to be given and they they stop. And not mention they are giving these mask after start of the lockdown. what a slap in the face. and not to mention we have now contract about to be 3 years old. all this media about first responders and health care workers being protected is a bunch of bs. the recruits in our district have the worst part of this, they were handed the job to clean the squad cars with cleaning materials that were brought by the lt out of their own pocket. and two of the recruits came to work and quit, do you blame them. They didn't sign up to clean cars that should be done by professionals. the interm sup giving us email upadates on how many pos are sick really doesn't help when you cant protect the officers. And to think we're not even at "the numbers" yet. the weather is getting warmer, people have been "sheltered" at home and people are going stir crazy. its a bad situation. if anything, po's be safe and protect yourself. dont rely on the department with the half ass supplies they gave us. there is a reason why they have us sign for the stuff they gave us so they can cover their ass and say we protected the officer when you get sick.

I suspect the get up is being used to protect the cleaners from the cleaners being used more than any virus. Spray bottles don't have the aerosol potential for the nasty cleaners being sprayed out with high pressure.
I wonder how the heat and air conditioning systems are being disinfected. That would be the only thing that would make me nervous. A run thru a normal car wash should be adequate exterior cleaning as long as the water is not being recycled like many car washes do these days.
