As predicted by readers here, someone was bound to complain about the number of stops on the west side:
- Chicago police broke up far more gatherings of people on the West Side than any other part of the city during the early days of Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s stay-at-home order to curb the spread of COVID-19, according to official police statistics.
More than half of the at least 930 reports where Chicago police dealt with “coronavirus loitering” across the city in an 11-day period from late March through early April occurred in just one of the city’s 22 police districts, the Harrison patrol district on the West Side, according to data on coronavirus dispersals obtained by the Tribune through an open records request.
Of Harrison’s more than 500 reports, many generated by 911 calls, about a quarter of them occurred within Beat 1112, a four-by-four block area on the northern end of the district, the records show.
Actually, that's quite hilarious. Five-hundred reports (many via 911 calls) for "social distancing" violations, but someone gets shot and/or killed and you can't find anyone who saw or heard shit for weeks, months or years afterward.

So we are to blame for responding them taking action based off a citizens 911 call? Here is the trick bag. Disperse them and we are the bad guys, do nothing and the 911 caller gets a complaint on the police for doing nothing. It’s a lose lose as always with this city and it’s “journalists”.

Word is Loevy n Lovey and two other law firms of their ilk have “clients” ’trolling the west & south sides armed with quality video devices who are acting as freelance videographers to document CPD interactions with the community in regards to the “Stay At Home” orders. These recordings are going directly back to the law firms along with the names of the community members who were involved. I guess this is the new version of Ambulance Chasing. Be careful of those 911 calls about large gatherings as they may be intentional gatherings to draw the Police into controversial situations that can be recorded for use by the shysters.

Logically when one gets killed, that victim is quite distanced socially from everyone else so there is no need to say anything... Snitches don't themselves want to get socially distanced either so silence is golden.

Lotta truth to what 423 am says. I’ve been running event numbers of these COVID-19 dispersals immediately after they are rambled off by the dispatcher. Lo and beholds they don’t exist. I even asked “hey why isn’t it showing up”? Dispatcher says “maybe they immediately cleared from it”. I smell a rat. A big one. And yes, these were all in 011 by either the whacktical teams (1164 usually) or some beats I’m not too familiar with (Sat teams maybe?). They’re definitely playing the numbers game with this shit and I hope it bites them all on the ass.
