Off Topic. So the 19Th District has 5 confirmed cases of COVID 19, and no one does or says anything about it. People still using the same cars everyday. Most Officers clean the car themselves before driving it. Even had one guy that was sick that worked the desk. In response to that, they closed off one computer terminal, and had the maintenance people wipe it down. A lot of Officers are going to catch this shit, if someone doesn’t do something to protect them.

There should be no special skills. If they died or retired tomorrow the area would go on like it does when they are on furlough or medical. FOP if they really want seniority has to step up

This guy (in the link I included) goes all over the country driving through hoods (including Chicago) and sometimes talks to various fools and gangbangers asking their opinions. I believe he's a former Detroit cop. He's talked to some folks since this CV crisis started. It gives a good idea to citizens of how it is everyday, coronavirus or no coronavirus.

Majority of those “special ones” are good detectives who work and solve cases. They needed to be saved so Area 2 wouldn’t continue to be the laughing stock of the D unit as you put it. Some of those detectives with 12-14 years have a year or two detective experience and the guys with 7 years have 4 years of experience as detectives. The 12-14 year guys who do nothing don’t deserve to be saved over the guys who actually work cases no matter what their time on the job is.

Some of those detectives with 12-14 years have a year or two detective experience and the guys with 7 years have 4 years of experience as detectives. The 12-14 year guys who do nothing don’t deserve to be saved over the guys who actually work cases no matter what their time on the job is.

Sooooo the 7 year guys have 4 years experience as a detective? Which would mean they made detective with 3 years on the job? Which then means they took the test with about 1.5 years on the job???
That thing with Blago has to be the funniest tongue in cheek thing I have seen in a long time. That man has gonads.
They mastered that years ago.

West Ridge in the 024th district has the highest concentrate of Covid 19 cases in the city and Commander Rubino and the Tact Lt. are telling their officers to go out and make stops on people. What kind of leadership do we have, telling the officers to do the exact opposite of what is being recommended by everyone else. Their numbers are more important than the saftey of their officers, unreal!
