he quickly stated i GOTZ a badge too the mayor gave it to me.
So double check these goofs he did have an IR number to boot.
Census takers aren't immune from Traffic Law by any stretch of the imagination. Neither are we except in emergency situations.

EVERY Census since the very first Census of 1790, ordered by President George Washington, is entirely, solely, completely, and totally a FEDERAL activity and there is no State, County, or Municipal involvement whatsoever. The US Bureau of the Census is a sub agency of the US Department of Commerce. The Constitution states that a Census shall be conducted every ten (10) years for the purpose of allocating Seats to each State in the US House of Representatives.
The Groot has NO business interfering with the US Census. It is a Federal Felony to do so. Some SCC Legal Beagle can find the Statute ( US Code) on this.

Dixmoor Park Police
Must be plenty of them out there? I purchased one on eBay a few days ago.
I'm a census taker in waiting. I have yet to be fingerprinted and trained -- activities that have been suspended since late March. Were these people actually processed and trained in the short period between the Bureau starting to contact people (February) and the virus shutdown? Also, the Bureau will provide cellphones specifically for Census use. Do these "Census takers" have these? Are they operating under the official auspices of the Census Bureau -- the people who, when all is said & done, are running census operations -- and not doing census contact at this time? FYI I was contacted on Sat.May 9 by the Bureau (708-907-4557) asking if I was still interested, and that they'd be calling us in June about possibly revving up operations.

Census takers are Fed temporary jobs currently taking applications, they will issue an Official picture ID card once hired on. They have some out there checking those who haven’t yet responded online or mailed in a response.

Each temporary decennial Census employee will have an official identification card with the employee’s name, picture, and expiration date.
Regional staff can be identified by their Personal Identity Verification Card.
Temporary Decennial employees can be identified by their Census Identification Card. . .
They put out a cpic notification on what their credentials looked like. I could be wrong but I do not recall seeing a badge

I remember when a Harvey pastor bought one of those kiddie railroad locomotives and a bunch of cars. He set up about a hundred yards of track. He tried to get his "flock" certified as railroad police. Didn't work.
