Sam Amarante was always a class act as an Assistant States Attorney and as a private attorney. Did his job as a lawyer but always treated the police with respect and professionalism.

Glad to hear that Amirante is offering pro bono services to CPD. Best of all, it’s good to hear people speaking out publicly about the mistreatment of public property (and call a riot a riot), the police and the way kids are being taught in schools that’s leading to this pathetic mess. Stay safe everyone. - Loop Resident

Good attorneys too. It is time to fight back. Fuckin morons have no idea what Columbus did hundreds of years ago. They live here because of him. Its actually funnynhow their wild ass stupidity is showing. Maybe the WLM should descend upon the Dusable or King monuments . We can make up some bullshit about them and declare them horrible people too. Damn we have some really stupid people walking around breathing the same air.

Should use this guy for civil suits against Battery offenders who are not prosecuted by Foxx. Maybe even a lien against any future income of the assholes for the pain and suffering from sustained injuries.

Is Mr. Amirante the retired judge and attorney who defended Gacy? His book is sold at Amazon, where Gacy needed help, because police were harassing him. 😑

Nobody is harassing Italian Americans per se. The conflict is over a statue honoring a man who had nothing to do with Chicago, Illinois and the United States, unless the Puerto Rico territory of 1898-present counts and that's really stretching Columbus' legacy. 😑

Columbus' statue could have been placed in Columbus Park. Back then, Austin (1933) was mostly Irish American and Italian American. The statue can be installed in Norwood Park or Edison Park, where Alderperson Napolitano (41) and Italian Americans would be happy to have it. 🙂🇮🇪🇺🇸

Many explorers explored the big, wide US, NOT Cristoffa Corombo (real name of Christopher Columbus). We are here, because of those many explorers. 😑

His flyer should be put up in every district! Great to see the Italian community come out and take a stand against these criminals. We should have every able body Italian out there any time anarchists show up to destroy and vandalize any Christopher Columbus statue. One day of push back and a good asswhipping would stop this nonsense for good.

You can sue the mutts that assault you while you on duty.
Identify them, their illegal actions.
Document the incident.
Then follow through in civil action.

It's the game they have been playing for years. It does go both ways, use it!

File criminal charges against some Protesters
File Civil Lawsuits if ASA won't allow Criminal Charges
Go to Federal Court not Cook County Court

File Charges. Don't let this monument be destroyed
Don't let the Italian Heritage be Tarnished

If this damage or graffiti was placed on a Black Monument. Criminal Charges would be filed.

You must be thinking of someone else. Sam was a PD and was one of Gacy’s lawyers. Despite this he’s a good guy and very old school.

In case anyone missed it, Larri personally called COPA on the Police.
Elected have to held just as accountable for injuries committed by the violent groups when they show support and encouragement for.

Somewhere in the Civil Rights law it has to be interpreted to hold these elected officials culpable for Official Misconduct for ignoring State criminal code. Elections are not the answer to tyranny.

Thanks to Amirante Law.
I hope your efforts lead to a national precedence.

A big thanks to this gentleman for the offer to the Chicago Police. The silent majority needs to wake up. There is another civil war going on and the democrat/socialist politicians will not help any civilian going against their agenda. The federal government will help you before your own corrupt Illinois, Cook County or Chicago politicians would.

Years ago, I was working security for the Park District at Soldier Field during a Pearl Jam Concert. A kid tried to bum rush the mosh pit. I was only able to grab him by his shorts and underwear, tearing the shit out of them on the way to the security office. Turns out it was Sam's kid.

If anyone uses his firm, tell him I'm sorry please.

Where are the other attorney's and their corporate law firms standing up for the police. Many of the firms made millions off the city, county and state with specials deals worked out with Subject A, as Leader of the House in Springfield. How about supporting the police. Or do you have to ask Subject A if its ok.

I knew Sam Amirante when he was an Asst Public Defender working at the old Des Plaines Dist#3 Court House located in their
City Hall. He was a gentleman and a former Marine who later became a Circuit Court Judge. Thank you, Judge, for your kind offer to help CPD personnel who sustained injuries during last week's riot. I wish other retired judges would offer similar assistance since we get no help from our State's Attorney, Chief Judge, or County Board President.

How many of you upset about the mob going after Columbus either didn't care or approved when the mobs started tearing down Confederate monuments?

It was obvious to me the Confederate monuments were just the beginning.
It won't be long until the graves of vets from unpopular wars like Nam and Iraq II will get defaced because the mob says they were "baby killers" and "war criminals".

It is hard to stop mob rule once it is allowed to start.
Biden is selling himself as being a "return to normalcy" however these freaks aren't going to stop when the dems tell them "Good job, nice work but your services are no longer required."

This will only stop when they are stopped by force and charged and convicted.
Sadly I am not sure that will ever happen.

First they came for the Confederates...
