- A man is in serious condition after being shot while sitting in a car near the Wabash Bridge on Saturday morning. The shooting unfolded less than a block from where a man was killed and a woman injured during an argument on the bridge last Sunday.
Officers responded to calls of shots fired near Wacker and Wabash around 5 a.m. today. Cops located eight shell casings and blood at 232 North Wabash, near the Seventeenth Church of Christ Scientist, according to officers on the scene.
Witnesses told police they saw the occupants of a black BMW get into an argument with a man who was standing on the street. The man pulled out a handgun and began firing into the car, according to police.
It's becoming painfully obvious that significant landmarks are driving the violence across Chicago, and Groot's only hope - in fact, ALL OF OUR VERY LIVES - depends on tearing down each and every landmark, building, statue and boulevard as soon as it becomes obvious that IT is what is attracting the violence that is robbing society of the flower of our youth.

Downtown has turned to complete shit!! I've heard many residents say they will never go downtown again! All the hard work and money spent to spruce it up has gone to waste and has become the new adventureland for the "Pillars of the Community".
Demolish Englewood, Gresham, Roseland, North Lawndale, Garfield Park and Austin. You'd need only about 5000 coppers on the Department.

This is a direct result of the ACLU's contact card / ISR lawsuit and body cameras. Cops aren't stopping the right people anymore. The baddies have learned and are strapped up walking around downtown. The ACLU is at fault for more black people getting murdered.

Worked Friday and Saturday night on Michigan Avenue. Talked to a lady in her sixties. She works at nieman marcus. She says her clients refuse to come downtown. With what I saw walking and driving around, I don’t blame them. Citizens were also voicing their dislike of Larry and IT’S crew.
Sears Tower HAS to come down, cuz Sears Roebuck was built on the 'backs of its workers' who were paid 'slave wages' while charging outrageously HIGH prices for inferior products that 'Sears' didn't make in the first place, and that the 'working poor' was forced by necessity to buy.

The Kindergarten story behind this that we were force-fed as children is that Hancock wanted the King of England to be able to read his scrawl without his spectacles so Hancock signed his name in size 25 Font.

The 'real' reason Hancock did this is that John Hancock was a mean an vindictive person who wanted to inflict personal embarrassment on poor King George III of England due to his 'vision disability', and in front of the entire British court no less.
This innate meanness in Hancock is also why he subsequently established an Insurance Company under his name -- so he could personally DENY the 'working poor' of Colonial America much needed 'Healthcare'. Historical records show that Hancock personally wrote all rejection letters himself, and he did so with glee!
So allowing a Tower in his name to stand today??.. balderdash. We're not playing silly buggers any longer. We're woke, dammit. It be a falling!

Once the census comes in and the city and state realizes the population losses, the real fear comes into play. The business and commercial community will flee shortly there after. I've lived in Chicago off and on since 1960. Things started to go downhill in the Loop about 1968 after the King riots. (Sox opening day in 1968 had attendance of about 6,000, as fans were afraid to go to Comiskey Park.) By 1970, the nicer stores, restaurants, and major firms were moving north of the Chicago River.
It was great to see the Loop starting to get cleaned uppin the 1990s, and with the arrival of Millenium Park, the Loop became a place where the average tourist family from Iowa could stay and feel safe.
Now, things have reverted back to the 1970s downtown, and the ferals have now taken aim at River North and the Gold Coast. With retail sliding, crime increasing, taxes bound to go up significantly once again, with corporate offices emptying out permanently with work-at-home now the norm.... the Loop and near north side. I never thought I would see the day when it was dangerous to walk by oneself along North Michigan Avenue, and where doormen at the Westin (the old Continental Plaza) and the Drake have to warn hotel guests to be careful when walking out the door.
Richard J Daley would never have allowed the crime and disrespect of law enforcement to happen. Corrupt as the Daley machine was (and how it stole the 1960 election for Kennedy), Richard J. would have never allowed the destruction of Chicago. Richard J. would have told the Kim Foxx and the dwarf mayor to "F&^* Off," just as he told Senator Ribicoff at the '68 Democrat convention.
They identified the color of the car but not the shooter......
Slowly and surely, people have been avoiding Downtown and similar areas, which haven't been safe in 10 years or more. Wildings, mob robberies, shootings, stabbings, fights, etc. at Taste of Chicago, Navy Pier and Walgreens would make anyone stay away. ☹️
Why not just nuke Austin and The Wood. Cheaper and gets rid of lots of nasty pests. Do it a 3:00 am on a Tuesday most back in their cribs by then. Problem solved along Red Line and Green Line v
