The chart shows that in just under eight months, Chicago has already surpassed the entire total carjackings of 2019. Every new jacking is an increase in the....decrease? increase? Something or the other. It's shaping up to be a banner year.

In these challenging times, unable to work, insurance rates and deductibles still go up - even though you never encountered or claimed any theft, robbery, damage or a downtown/Lincoln Park car-jackson.
Auto Insurance doesn’t redline. Mmmmm-hmmmm.
I know these criminals are well aware of the no chase policy but wait until they get a copy of the latest directive, which I'm sure will be handed to them by CCSAO once they're released on an I bond. Just look at the total of car jacking stats since Kim Foxx took office.

Yep. - a couple of years ago, they were all turning up in the South Burbs, most of them either jacked or stolen from 012. Sometimes multiples on the same street were being recovered by the suburban PD. When we’d ask what the “Vehicular Hijacking” crew was doing in 2018 (another bullshit task force created by Riccio meant to siphon unlimited OT to his chosen people), we were told the task force was able to pick which ones they would work.

I remember when Rahm and Eddie put together a task force to charge the youths federally with carjackings...total bogus task force. just typical smoke and mirrors dog and pony show for the media. I know because I was assigned to it. never met like we were supposed to and never charged anyone federally.

The most violent criminals today are the carjackers . They steal cars with such force now that the victims are beaten and shot , and the offenders carjack with such impunity and recklessness because they almost feel that they will never get caught. I’m just saying....retired CPD
