After this weekend, where 6 died and 58 were maimed (updated after a wounded person expired), the "community" pulled out the stops for Monday:
- Twenty-one people were shot, two of them fatally, Monday in Chicago - the second straight day that more than 20 people were shot across the city.
For the week, Chicago is approaching fifty casualties already, and it's only Tuesday (as of this writing).

After WWII, the military did a ton of research and spent millions trying to increase a man's ability to pull a trigger on another man. They started making the paper targets in man shapes, they introduced racist pamphlets describing the enemy as subhuman, they pushed duty, honor, country. They had Chaplains available to explain that it is OK to kill in wars.
